Jo Malone London ‘Hot Blossoms Collection’
“The inspiration came when I was travelling around Brazil. We loved the flamboyant vibrancy of the flowers and the sumptuous textures of the fruits there, so we thought why not create two fragrances instead of one?”
– Celine Roux, Jo Malone London Head of Fragrance Development
Jo Malone London ‘Tropical Cherimoya’ Cologne
Introducing the fabulous Tropical Cherimoya Cologne. A sea of green cherimoya fruit. Basking in the heat. Mouth-watering. Tempting. Topped with juicy pear. The sun-filled notes of passion flower. Warmed by Brazilian copahu resin and creamy tonka bean. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m off to my local Jo Malone London store this weekend to try it, this sounds right up my street!
Jo Malone London Cattleya Flower Body Mist
This is the first time Jo Malone London have ever created a body mist, which probably means there will soon be a huge trend for luxury body mists, high-end fragrance waters and dreamy light weight skin scents. After all, Jo Malone London do have a tendency to start fragrance trends! Anyway, this Cattleya Flower Body Mist is fresh, bright and light. It’s the scent of a beach-side sweet citrus cocktails, mixed with tropical cattleya flowers, orchid petals and solar notes. It’s fruity and floral, and infused with sunshine and sparkle. It’s fun and flirty, but it’s also got a touch of slightly vintage glam, thanks to the musk and powdery tones at the base of the fragrance. It’s a little young for me, I think the Tropical Cherimoya Cologne is more my style, but I have a feeling this body mist was never intended for these old bones of mine! It’s the perfect fragrance for any young woman who loves a sweet and sexy fruity-floral summer perfume, but wants to indulge in a little Jo Malone London elegance!
