Summer Fragrance Edit (+New Perfumes You NEED To Try!)

Moresque 'Fiore di Portofino'

Summer Fragrance Edit

Bonjour, my friends! It’s officially summer and I’m SO excited for the lighter evenings and warmer weather. The other day I let the house for HOURS (rather than to nip to the supermarket) without a coat. No joke, I got on a train, went all the way to London and I did it all sans coat! It. Was. Awesome! Anyway! With Summer officially here, at least for the moment, it’s time for a Summer fragrance edit as well as a whole heap of new perfumes which I think you need to try!

Bulgari 'Omnia Pink Sapphire' perfume

Bulgari ‘Omnia Pink Sapphire’

Oh la la! This perfume is SO more than just a pretty pink bottle, it’s a wonderfully zesty and bright Summer perfume, which doesn’t smell pink and sugary as you might expect, instead it’s full of grapefruit, pink pepper, musk and vanilla. It’s bright, sparkling, slightly spicy and mixed with warm addictive notes of woods, musk and vanilla. Believe me, you need to try Bulgari Omnia Pink Sapphire for yourself, it’s new and it’s a summer delight!

Berdoues 'Péng Lái' perfume fragrance

Berdoues ‘Péng Lái’

This perfume dropped through my letter box as a surprise delivery a few weeks ago and I have to say, it’s absolutely lovely! Berdoues Péng Lái is filled with notes of osmanthus, benzoin and tonka bean. Effortless, simple and elegant, it’s the scent of a Parisian woman swapping the stuffy city for a few weeks on a private, tropical island… just lovely!

Moresque 'Fiore di Portofino'

Moresque ‘Fiore di Portofino’

A fragrance fit for a queen in summer! Moresque Fiore di Portofino is right up my street and it’s every bit as beautiful as this sea green and gold bottle! It’s only available via Harrods, so if you are in London (or near by!) please make sure you pop in to sample this one! It’s filled with bright and zesty notes of lemon, orange, neroli, basil, mimosa blossom, iris, carnation flower, geranium leaves and amber. It’s truly elegant, fresh, exciting and it’s perfectly unisex too, ideal for all the fragrance sharers out there! It’s a little pricer, but my-oh-my, if fragrance is your thing… this is a winner!

viktor and rolf flowerbomb nectar

Viktor & Rolf  ‘Flowerbomb Nectar’

Is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb the most loved fragrances of the Millennial generation?! I think so! Although, I have to admit, I think we all adore that beautiful blush pink bottle and box, and the zesty garland of florals which the fragrance is famed for! Well now my friends, there is a new addition to the Flowerbomb family, it was released just a few weeks ago and it’s beautiful! The best way to describe Flowerbomb Nectar is like a cross between Flowerbomb and Bon-Bon, all the floral goodness of the former with the sugary sweetness of the latter. Lovely! Oh and you can find it at Debenhams!

estee lauder bronze goddess perfume review

Estée Lauder ‘Bronzer Goddess’

Is summer really summer without at least one bottle of Estée Lauder Bronzer Goddess?! Personally, I think not! I love my annual bottle of Bronze Goddess, I love wearing it in the summer and I always leave a dribble at the bottom of the bottle for those cold, dark winter days when I need to remember when warm sunny days because they feel so far away! It contains notes of sun-drenched Bergamot, warm Amber, Tiare Flower and Vanilla and delicious Coconut. It’s the sun, sand, suncream, fruits, flowers and cocktails of summer and it’s perfect!

Cartier 'La Panthère'

Cartier ‘La Panthère’

Ahhhh the classic Cartier fragrance La Panthère is always a joy for summer! It’s a classic, feminine scent which smells like summer Gardenia. It’s gentle, fresh and effortlessly elegant… but I’m sure you guys know this one already! It’s a classic!

Van Cleef & Arpels 'Neroli Amara'

Van Cleef & Arpels ‘Neroli Amara’

Van Cleef & Arpels Neroli Amara is possibly my favourite fragrance of the entire edit! I go nuts for the scent of neroli and I’m of the opinion that there is simply not enough neroli based fragrances on the market! This fragrance is part of the VC&A Collection Extrodinaire Collection, which is a collection filled with fragrances all based around celebrating one single fragrance accord. It’s bright and filled with white florals and tones of lush greenery, it’s truly stunning for the summer!

Issey Miyake 'L’Eau d’Issey' Summer Edition

Issey Miyake ‘L’Eau d’Issey’ Summer Edition

When it comes to Summer fragrances, Issey Miyake is iconic. It changed the fragrance world and it’s still adored today! This summer’s offering comes in a limited edition design bottle (think Urban Jungle!) and it contains notes of Lychee, Vanilla, Passion Fruit and Guava. Light, summery, classic and fresh!

Nina Ricci Monsters 'Nina'

Nina Ricci Monsters ‘Nina’

Tee hee hee! How flippin’ cute is this new limited edition Nina Ricci Monsters Nina perfume?! I literally can’t get over this little guy and there’s an equally fun one in the Luna Fragrance too. Anyway, Nina is my favourite and it’s filled with notes of sparkling summer pear and candy floss. The fragrance is a little young for me (let’s be honest, I’m cracking on!) but it’s still lovely and the bottle is AMAZING! For the younger ladies, it’s a summer sensation!

Michael Buble 'By Invitation Rose Gold'

Michael Buble ‘By Invitation: Rose Gold’

Regular readers might remember I featured Michael Bublé’s runaway success fragrance of 2016; By Invitation way back when It launched. I was surprised at how much I loved it and how it didn’t feel like your average ‘celebrity fragrance’. Well, he’s back with a brand new fragrance for 2018 and a stunning follow up to the original. It’s called By Invitation: Rose Gold and it’s filled with notes of magnolia, red fruits, pear, plum, rose, peony, vanilla, praline and cinnamon. It’s warm, feminine and oh-so-pretty. Forget everything you thought you knew about celebrity fragrance, even my boyfriend asked what I wear wearing when he smelt this one!

Clean Reserve 'Citron Fig' perfume fragrance

Clean Reserve ‘Citron Fig’

I couldn’t do a summer fragrance edit without including Clean Reserve Citron Fig. This is one of my favourite ever summer fragrances and it’s so under-appricated by the world! It’s the most beautiful fresh and bright green woody fragrance, which I adore wearing in the summer. The fresh green fig is addictive and the lemon is so zesty it freshens up even the the stuffiest of summer days. It’s elegant, unexpected and quite frankly, perfect!

Jean Paul Gaultier 'Classique' Summer summer limited edition

Jean Paul Gaultier ‘Classique’ Summer Limited Edition

This summer’s Jean Paul Gaultier Classique has had a Parisian street-art makeover thanks to Mr. A and his adorable round-faced character which is usually found with a cheeky wink! Have you ever seen JPG dressed in a cuter bottle?! The fragrance is filled with a playful summer charm; Ginger, lemon sorbet, Sugar cane, Labdanum Neo and vanilla. Eat. Your. Heart. Out!

…And there we have it! A whole heap of amazing summer fragrances! Let me know if any of these catch your eye!
