Food: New Treats From Emily Crisps (AD)

New Treats From Emily Crisps

Wanna know two of my favourite things in life? Snacking and women creating awesome things! Luckily for me (and hopefully you!) that’s what today’s post is all about! Let me introduce you to Emily and her crisps, otherwise known and indie super-brand, Emily Crisps! Emily launched her company in 2013 after spending some time travelling the world and discovering a way to make amazingly crunchy crisps out of fresh fruits and vegetables. She was part of Selfridges ‘Meet The Makers’ competition and since then she’s grown her company from just her and her partner, to a team of sixteen selling to over 10,000 UK stores. Regular readers of my blog might remember I did a giveaway to win a giant bundle of these snacks a while ago on my twitter, and now I want to share some information about their latest flavour… Quick heads up… It’s my favourite flavour yet!

There’s a whole heap of Emily Crisps flavours to choose from already, like sweeter options of Crunchy Red Apple, Fig Banana and Pineapple, to savoury varieties like French Beans, Sugar Snap Peas & Black Edamame and Sweet Potato, Carrot & Beetroot. Personally, I prefer the savoury varieties, but I know there is a lot of hardcore fans of the sweeter flavours, quite frankly, there’s something for everyone with Emily Crisps! The latest flavour is divine and already my favourite… let me tell you why! Firstly, they look like sweet potato fries, but instead of being light and fluffy like you might expect from ‘chip style’ crisps, these ones are thick and crunchy, making them really filling if you are hours away from your next meal and needing to fill a gap! Plus unlike normal crisps, these count as 1 of your 5-a-day and with the sprinkling of sea salt, they taste more like naughty-but-luxe pre-dinner party nibbles, rather than a healthy crisp-a-likes to have with your sandwich at work. Seriously ladies, Emily Crisps are natural, vegan, gluten free and have no added sugar, you need to give them a go and when you do, head straight for this new Sweet Potato Sticks Seasoned With Sea Salt variety because they are AMAZING!

This post has been sponsored by Emily Crisps to celebrate the launch of their new Sweet Potato Sticks Seasoned With Sea Salt crisps. As always, all opinions are my own. Sweet Potato Sticks are available in selected Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Whole Foods and Ocado.
