The year is FLYING by my friends!!! I can’t even believe we have hit the end of March already! Can you believe we had snow this month? Can you believe I haven’t even started my new years resolutions yet?! I feel like I have a 2018 to-do list the length of my arm and I haven’t even started it yet! Please tell me you are less inadequate than I am! Anyway, here are my March Favourites!
Miller Harris ‘La Feuille’
I have been wearing Miller Harris La Feuille for a few years now and I absolutely adore it for it’s plucked-from-nature notes of blackcurrant, fig, leaves, oakmoss and all things earthy, green and woodland-y! It’s a real favourite of mine which was why I was so sad when I used up my last bottle, I think I managed to get every single drop out of it, and I kept the empty bottle on a shelf for weeks as a reminder to replace it! I finally have a new bottle and I swear, it smells even better second time round! It’s such a charming fragrance, so beautiful fresh and green, but also really complex, which is really rare as usually fragrances like this are quite simple in their composition.
Marble Heel Shoes
Oh I do love these shoes!! Simple black court shoes from the front, marble at the back! They are super easy to style up and I’m still so in love with them. Click here to see the full post, if you wanna see some awesome pieces and the most amazing location house…

Podcasts & Audiobooks
This month I have been listening to Jon Ronson So, You’ve Been Publicly Shamed and The Psychopath Test. Also, I’m still really into the new season of Someone Knows Something and I’m excited to hear more of Dear Franklin Jones which is a new podcast. Finally, I refuse to be judged for this one, but I have been listening to a podcast which is dedicated to Sex And The City, it’s called Carrie On: The Sex And The City Podcast and it’s kinda hilarious. If you love the show and love mocking continuity and much as you love chatting about how Miranda is the BEST character, then you are gonna binge this podcast… that or I’ve just run out of podcasts to listen to. Which is also possible!
Crabtree & Evelyn ‘Pear & Pink Magnolia’ Handcream
Who expected us to have a snowy March!? With the heating cranked up high 24/7, my skin is dry AF right now. I don’t think I’ve ever worn so much hand cream, lip balm and body lotion to try and combat my dry skin issues thanks to excessive central heating. This Crabtree & Evelyn Pear & Pink Magnolia Handcream has been my go-to this month and I LOVE the scent, it’s SO darn pretty with it’s pretty pear and sweet florals and it’s super hydrating and nourishing.
72 Hair Care
I have recently been using 72 Hair Care and after a couple of uses, I realised ‘Damn, my hair looks good!’. Admittedly, I don’t know a huge amount about this brand, expect that they are fairly new, London based and used in lots of super-hip salons. Being a lady with colour treated and naturally wavy hair, I battle dry ends, frizz and flatness. Somehow this stuff seems to give my hair a little weight without weighing it down, tame frizz and hydrate my hair without giving me greasy roots. Life is good!
We have had a CRAZY busy month with our Airbnb! We only launched it a month ago, but already, it’s been SO busy and it’s been SO much fun!! It’s so much fun greeting our guests, sharing our Margate recommendations and being a tiny-weeny part of peoples weekend away! We’ve had amazing feedback and one of our guests even asked me if I was an interior decorator by trade, which made me so happy! I’ve got lots of fun Airbnb themed posts coming up, so keep an eye out for them!
Botanicals Wild Rose Mineral Soak
I’m all about the ‘self care’ RN, which is basically a millennial way to say ‘calm down and look after yourself’. Personally, I find this a great excuse to have as many baths as I want, it’s also helping to keep me warm during this crazy cold weather! I have been rattling through the bath products recently, but a real surprise winner has been this beautiful Botanicals Wild Rose Mineral Soak, it smells like an absolute dream; really spa-y and rose-y. It leaves me feeling detoxed, restored and super relaxed.
Inglot Pink-Tone Highlighter
Being a pale girl is tricky, there’s so many stunning gold-tone highlighted on the market, but sometimes they are too dark for me, especially in the winter when my skin is at it’s palest. Recently I have been loving this Inglot Highlighter for it’s super pretty pink tone, it gives the highlight that I love, mixed with a little pink, so it can be used in addition or instead of blush. Pink tone highlighters are hard to find, but this one is a real winner!
This month saw me sharing my first ever mirror selfie! No really, I’m not normally a selfie kinda girl, but as soon as I walked into this bathroom, I knew I had to snap a selfie! It was part of an amazing exhibition at the iconic Nayland Rock Hotel, Margate. It’s about to get a hugeeeeee refurb because it’s barely been changed in the last 40 years. Fun fact: Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger held their wedding party here in 1990 after they got married in Bali.
Too Faced ‘Rainbow Strobe’ Highlighter
I honestly thought I was totally over all things ‘pastel rainbows’ and ‘unicorns’ and then Too Faced released this rainbow highlighter and I threw away my rule book and jumped back in! I mean, seriously! I’m dying!! It’s super strobing, super cool and fills my heart with joy. Obsessed!!! I’m not sure it’s for every day use, but damn, I just love this fun new release!
ghd ‘Saharan Gold’ Styler
Oh la la! These new limited edition ghd Saharan Gold styler are giving me ALL the feels!!! I love the gold tone finish, the rose gold hardwear and the fact they are uber-travel friendly! No really, I *think* they are marginally smaller than the classic ghd’s and they work with universal voltage, so no matter where you go in the world and whatever voltage the plugs have, they will still heat up to 185 degrees, which is the perfect temperature for styling… oh and for a limited time, if you buy it from the ghd website, you will get a free ghd heat protectspray. #ThankMeLater.
Oh Lordy! I know I say this every month, but I SWEAR, we are getting there with the house! We have been working super hard; shopping for furniture, touching up paint and it’s almost there! I can’t wait to share more images with you all, but I’m nervous to do it whilst there’s still boxes in the corners of rooms! Just last week I bought a stunning mid-century cabinet for £50… including delivery!! Watch this space, I’m going to reveal some more rooms soon!
