Style: Forgotten Treasures

Keeping Cosy

Holy Moly it’s cold out there! God knows why I thought bare legs would be a good idea, I’m almost shivering just thinking about it! However, I can confirm, my coat is cosy AF and I was on my way to getting myself a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, so I was as happy as Larry… can you tell by my inane grin?! One of my favourite things about winter is drinking copious amounts of hot chocolate, generally served with a teaspoon and pink and white marshmallows. Also, can we please take a moment to appreciate my coat?! It’s from White Stuff and I absolutely love it! It’s the same texture as a teddybear, which makes it warm, cosy and super comfortable! But as cosy as it feels, it’s still looks quite smart casual, making it perfect for every occasion from hot chocolate runs, to PR meetings in London.

Raiding My Wardrobe

Anyone who follows me on Instagram stories will know I have been crazy busy lately with the final stage of our house renovation… the kitchen. I don’t really wanna chat about the ‘dollar’, but it’s cost us a freakin’ fortune. If you wince at the price of a designer handbag, then never buy a kitchen, I honestly had no idea how much of a drain on our finances it would be. Which is why I have been super strict with my spending this year and instead diving to the very back of my wardrobe to discover old gems and forgotten beauties, like this Carven handbag! I wore it loads when I first got it, and then it got buried in my wardrobe. It’s such a nice handbag and rediscovering it was almost as exciting as buying something new. I know I spend a little more on my clothes and accessories at times, but I re-wear things so many times, that I believe investing a little more pays off in the long run, I mean seriously, how many times have you seen me wearing these boots, brooch and sunglasses now?!

The coat looks super cosy and I never thought teddy coats could look classy but you did it! And that skirt is so cool and original, I love it.
