In Review…

Ah! I’m such a Coach fangirl! I LOVE their leather goods and their 1941 RTW collections are the kinds of clothes you would normally only find in dreams, you know, the cool kind of dreams, where you run off to New York, meet a band, join the band, go on an epic road trip & tour and finish with a headlining Coachella set where you are showered in glitter and confetti in front of  a huge crowd cheering your name! The dream-maker behind Coach is the amazingly talented Stuart Vevers and I’m so glad to have a little Coach collection in my wardrobe.

Whilst the Coach clothes and handbags tend to be a edgy and urban, their fragrances are more on the pretty and whimsical style. That being said, there are so rather lovely dusty pink slip dresses in tea dresses in the Spring Collection which would be perfect worn with this new Floral perfume. This fragrance is unashamedly feminine and pretty, it opens with a burst of refreshing citrus fruits, including pineapple sorbet which adds just enough sweetness to satisfy your sweet tooth, without being sickly. I never would have expected to like Pineapple as a fragrance note, but actually, it’s rather lovely and because it’s balanced with the spicy pink pepper, it’s a lot less dominant than you might expect. At the heart of the fragrance is a delightful blend of pretty floral notes, rose tea, jasmine and gardenia, all with a very soft, translucent tone to them, giving them almost a breezy and nostalgic feel. As for the base, this is where you start to feel the edgier side of Coach; the 70’s style musks, patchouli and creamy woods, giving this super pretty feminine fragrance a slightly darker edgier twist on the dry down. Whilst Coach Floral is a little too pretty and breezy for my personal style, it is such a lovely perfume and if you love perfumes like Daisy, Chloe and Flowerbomb, I think you are going to love this one too, especially with that slightly more rock ‘n’ roll undertone! It’s out in February 2018, so make sure you head down to your local department store to check it out!

Coach ‘Floral’ is out on 12th February 2018 and available nationwide at Debenhams, John Lewis and House of Fraser. It is priced at £35 for 30ml, £49 for 50ml and £69 for 90ml.
