The Tulle Skirt Edit

The Tulle Skirt

I’ve always thought of myself as a ‘dress wearer’, rather than a skirt wearer. I’ve always founded dresses so much easier, after all; 1 great dress= 1 great outfit. Done! But recently, I’ve been struggling to find dresses that I really love and fit all my requirements, after all, a girl has to think about the right sleeve, print, length, fabric… there’s a lot to consider!! Aside from the Boden Jessica Dress (which I have in four different versions of!) I’ve been in a bit of a dress drought. Inside I’ve found myself reaching for a pleated or tulle skirt and a cute jumper.

The Edit

I think it started in the Summer with the ASOS pleated skirts. I found them so easy to style up with my existing wardrobe and so comfortable and carefree to wear. As the months wore on, I found myself gravitating towards a little tulle, which is a look I didn’t think I would be going for in my 30’s, I had a fear of looking like a overgrown fairy at a children’s party. However, I think (I hope!) I’ve side-stepped that if you can’t wear tulle at Christmas, when can you?! So this is my reminder to you to you, if you wanna wear a little tulle, then go for it and here are some beautiful and affordable styles I have found lately. If you click the icons below it will take you straight to the shopping page, this post hasn’t been sponsored, but it does contain affiliate links. As for the skirt I’m wearing, it is from Elvi and I can’t recommend it enough!
