Laundry Day Vibes

As many of you know, we are STILL renovating our house and right now, we are completely without a kitchen. No fridge, no oven, no washing machine… not even a kitchen sink! I swear, we are washing up our mugs in the bathroom! I wish I was kidding, but I’m not. Anyway, the reason why I’m telling you this is because my wardrobe these days, reminds me a lot of how I ran the show back at uni. For the first week or two, I’m loving life; I can wear cute dresses, tights without holes, the whole shebang! And then all of a sudden, laundry day creeps up on me and when it does, we have issues. Firstly, my boyfriend has to drive the laundry to a neighbouring town to drop it off (can you believe there isn’t a laundrette in Margate?!) and then, secondly, we have to wait a couple of days for them to do our service wash. In which time I’m running to Peacocks for clean pants and I’m wearing prom dresses to Morrisson’s. Today is one of those days, but instead of being embarrassed about it, I strapped on a little Chanel, felt like a queen in new pants and stepped outside to enjoy the sun whilst wearing my finest frock!

I am fully obsessed with these Boots. I just love them so, so, so much! I have been wearing them at every opportunity and I feel like a million dollars when I do!
