Channeling My Inner Cher Horowitz

OK! So, I completely admit, I’m a total poor mans version of Cher Horowitz. Firstly, I’m not a 17 year old blonde LA goddess and I’m not brave enough to rock a furry backpack in my 30’s and cruise around Margate in a jeep. But if I can channel just 1% of her heart, sass and style, I’m happy!  My Coat is from Next and I love it so much! It’s warm and cosy, beautifully cut and it has an adorable vintage look to it. Also, it comes with a detachable fur collar, I’m wearing it without the collar today (obvs) as it was a bit much with the collar of my jumper, but it’s super cute worn either way! Also, shout out to my new bracelet, which is by Orla Kiely and I’m only a little lot obsessed with!!

One More Thing….

There’s a lot of bad stuff going on in the world right now… Trump-ness, Weinstein-stuff and acid attacks, as well as a whole heap of other crap. I don’t even have a TV right now, so you would think I would be blind to it all, but alas, it’s everywhere and at times, the world feels kind of dark because of it. Personally I like to think of the internet as a pretty happy place, somewhere that I can watch Netflix, Youtube and listen to copious amounts of music. It’s also a great place to chatter with friends, create and share a few rainbow coloured outfits for friends to enjoy. It’s nice to have a little light relief, y’know. So here’s a quick reminder, if there is someone on your Instagram who makes you feel bad about yourself or unhappy, unfollow them. If there’s someone on twitter who annoys you, mute or block them. And if you see someone being cruel or hurtful to another, then consider stepping in to politely say ‘Hey! This might not be something you are into, but there’s no need to make someone else feel bad about their hair / clothes / handbag / views/ life’. Not feeling brave / energetic enough to involve yourself in a twitter war, then DM the attackee, to give your support, kind words and give them a little love.
