Six Great Sleep Aid Beauty Products
Change of seasons often bring issues with sleeping, I don’t know about you guys, but I have had a dreadful sleep pattern lately. I keep waking up at 5am, staying awake for an hour or so, falling back to sleep and then waking up and feeling like death… nightmare!! There’s only one thing left to do; Turn off your phone, have a relaxing bath and try your damnedest to get a good nights’ sleep! I’ve put together a selection of sleep aid products which really help me get a restful night!
This Works ‘Sleep Power’ Set
OK! Let’s get things started with one of my favourites shall we?! I honestly can’t even count how many bottles of This Works Pillow Spray, I have rattled through, I absolutely love it and I recommend it to anyone I can! If you fancy dipping your toe into the pillow spray world, but you don’t want to buy a full-sized bottle, then this Sleep Power set is the perfect trial size. Also if you are a pillow spray addict (like me) and you want something mini for travel, then again, this set is brilliant. This set contains 2 mini pillow sprays and 2 mini stress check pulse point rollerball oils, believe me, you will be back for the full sized bottle!
Feather & Down Soothing Body
Feather & Down are a fairly new brand and this year has been incredible for them! I have been seeing them everywhere, from blog posts to Boots shelves, this brand are killing it thanks for their fabulous formulas. They have a beautiful selection of sleep inducing goodness including a pillow spray, sleep balm, shower cream and this super nourishing and relaxing Body Oil. It’s blended with sweet almond oil, lavender, jojoba oil and applying it feels like you are giving yourself a mini massage which is calming and for the body and soul. The scent lingers on skin through the night and just generally feels really relaxing. Personally I use this in conjunction with a pillow mist, as it’s not quite potent enough to help me sleep on it’s own, but it is lovely, soothing relaxing and I love the slight powdery trail it leaves on skin.
ESPA ‘Soothing Aromatic’ Candle
Bright lights can be so harsh and do nothing to help prepare your body for sleep, so turn off the ceiling lights and switch to softer lamps and candles. Personally, I adore this ESPA ‘Soothing Aromatic’ Candle which smells like every amazing spa I have ever been in (notes include Sandalwood, Rose Geranium, Myrrh and Frankincense) and the scent of it and the soft flickering light really helps to relax me. It’s beautiful!
Ren ‘& Now To Sleep’ Pillow Spray
….And the award for the cutest pillow spray goes to Ren ‘& Now To Sleep’ Pillow Spray! Seriously though, how darn cute is this bottle?!?! Aside from being an adorable bedtime buddy, it’s also a really effective pillow spray, containing essential oils of frankincense, hops and lavender. It’s also worth noting that if you aren’t a huge fan of the scent of lavender, then this one might work really well for you, it does contain lavender, it’s the least lavender-y of all the mists, the most dominant note is the frankincense.
Tropic Skincare ‘So Sleepy’ Pillow Mist
Earlier this year, Tropic Skincare released a ‘So Sleepy’ travel set, which contained a mini pillow mist and relaxing rollerball oil to apply on pulse points. The pillow mist was a huge fan favourite and many people (me included) messaged the brand to say how good it was and requested that a full sized bottle should be made available. It’s finally happened and I’m so happy! This pillow mist is absolutely stunning and a real favourite of mine, it contains Lavender, Rosemary, Chamomile, Frankincense, Rosewood, Eucalyptus and Rose.
Neom ‘Perfect Night’s Sleep’ Pillow Spray
My mum also has issues sleeping, but she finds that heavily scented products can trigger off migraines, so she tends to favour scented candles and relaxing bath salts over heavy sleep sprays. One of the few pillow mists she can use is the Neom Perfect Night’s Sleep Spray. She finds it effective, but slightly lighter so she doesn’t get headaches after using it. A tip from my mum is to spritz from a height so the scent is in the atmosphere and less on the pillow, it still helps her get to sleep, but it’s not quite as intense! This mist contains notes of lavender, chamomile and patchouli and the scent is relaxing, yet fresh.

So there we have it, Six Great Sleep Aid Beauty Products! I hope it was of help and just an FYI, if you are looking for a great sleep mask, I am still living for the new Omorovicza Midnight Recovery Mask which is insanely good (I wrote about it here!)
I really think I need to invest in the tropic so sleepy pillow mist! I struggle to sleep at the best of times at the moment!

The Curvaceous Vegan
I use the Badger Sleeping Balm before bed, but I’ve always wanted to try a pillow spray as the balm is applied to the skin and stays greasy through the night ;D
You have no idea how much I needed to read this post today! I am having major sleep problems right now, so this is super useful – thank you x
