Good evening my friends! It’s 9:30pm and I’m already in bed. Granted, I have my laptop on my knee, chocolates next to me and Netflix on in the background, but regardless, I’m in bed. As soon as the cold weather hits, I spend as much time as possible in bed, I love it here. It’s warm, comfortable and cosy and given half the chance, I’ll wake up in the morning, get myself a coffee and come back to bed, power up the laptop and crack on with emails. Anyway, my point is, statistically we all spend a huge chunk of our lives in bed and me, but me, I like to think I spend more time in bed than the average! It’s for this reason, we spent a small fortune on our bed and mattress. However, as much as I love our bed, I loved it a little bit more before I discovered the French Bedroom Company. The simple lines of our hospital style bed, pale in comparison to the dreamy Marie Antoinette style beds at the French Bedroom Company. I mean, just look at these beauties! It’s like they were plucked from a stately manor home or the bedroom of a Disney princess.
Annoyingly, when we designed our bedroom, we actually chopped it up a little to make space for a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. If we hadn’t done this, I think one of these beds would have worked perfectly with the victorian fireplace, elegant coving and high ceilings, but as it is, the proportions are not quite right. The guest bedroom would look spectacular with one, but quite frankly, I don’t like any of our guests enough to let them sleep in my dream bed, whilst I slum it in a not-as-fancy hospital style bed. So, here’s the deal I have made with myself… next house, I’m getting the pink beauty in the above picture and no-ones gonna stop me!
Good night, my friends!
PS. This post 100% not sponsored, I am just truly obsessed with these beds and I wanted to share them with you all!
