Ten Treats For £10 and Under

Sleek Highlighting PaletteTen treats for £10 and under

Are you feeling the mid-month blues when you really want to treat yourself to something nice, but don’t quite have the spade funds?! I found ten treats for £10 and under… all fun, all affordable and all designed to bring a little bit of joy into your day / week / month! Let’s go!

Teapigs Jelly & Ice Cream Teapigs

Teapigs Jelly & Ice Cream Teapigs

Drinking tea is of course a great British pasttime; but it’s so much more fun when it’s jelly & ice cream flavoured! I know this sounds like I have made it up, but I swear, Teapigs have created a Jelly & Ice Cream flavoured tea. It’s fruity with a hint of creamy notes. SO. MUCH. FUN!

Patisserie de Bain Treats

Patisserie de Bain Treats

Now here’s a thrifty shower treat! Patisserie de Bain can be found at Superdrug and fragrances include Lemon Bonbon, Orange Crush, Strawberry Cupcake and Sugared Violet. The latter is my personal favourite! There is also cupcake shaped bath soaks which are so cute and an incredible velvety Buttercream hand cream, which I love!

Mua Set & Reflect Finishing Kit

MUA Set & Reflect Finishing Kit

This MUA Set & Reflect Finishing Kit has become a bit of a handbag favourite of mine. When you open it up, the first layer is a highlighter and the bottom shade is a setting powder. I use both parts of this duo, but it’s the finishing powder I have become most attached too, it works wonders in the summer, reducing my sweaty shine in a jiffy!

YOPE Geranium Natural Shower Gel

YOPE Geranium Natural Shower Gel

Just take a look at the branding here; dark bottle, cute but hip illustration, natural product… you would assume this product costs nearing £20, but actually it costs about a third of that! It smells like a dream and it looks great in any bathroom, especially one with metro tiles and dark grouting. YOPE Geranium Natural Shower Gel is available at Natures Health Box.

Glossybox july box

Glossybox

I have been a Glossybox subscriber for a sweet time now. I know there is a lot of subscription boxes out there, but the is one I never tire of, maybe because it was the first, or maybe because they always have a great mix of useful items that save me a trip to Boots (razors, shampoo, conditioner, aftersun) as well as hot new trend items (Banana powder, Spectrum Brushes, Korean inspired skincare). For £10 a month, it’s a great little treat!

Sleek Highlighting Palette

Sleek Highlighting Palette

Sleek have made a lot of great highlighting palettes over the years, the Solstice one is a particular favourite of mine! I love the super-strobe effect it gives and the slightly blue and lilac tones in it, which are perfect for us pale girls. Their latest Distorted Dreams Highlighting Palette is a similar theme, it has a pale pink, blue and green, as well as a nude and light bronze colour. It’s super luminous and can be worn sparingly or layered up for a strobe-tastic look! Boom!  (PS. It’s priced at £10.99, but it’s currently on BOGOHP)

oh ok! Cosmetics

Oh k! Cosmetics

Oh K! Cosmetics are the cutest cosmetics in town! They are Korean inspired and include things like animal shaped lip balms, panda eye masks, watermelon face masks and hand creams shaped like cats! What more could a girl want! I buy mine from Boots and pretty much everything in the range is under £10!

Barry M Unicorn Lipstick

Barry M Unicorn Lipstick

There are a fair few colour-changing lipsticks out there, but for me, I’m not sure if I want to invest in a designer version for nearing £20, when I could spend a fiver on Barry M Unicorn Lipstick. I love this one, it’s so much fun, everything from the packaging to the yellow lipstick which turns pink on your lips! Not only is it super cheerful, but also, it gives a really long lasting colour!

Vichy Lipbalm

Vichy Lipbalm

Nothing ruins my day like an uncomfortable pair of tights and sore, dry lips. Ditch the petroleum based lip balms and get yourself something which ACTUALLY works! It might not be the most glamorous of treats, but Vichy lip balm makes my lips happy and when my lips are happy, I’m happy!!! But seriously, it’s a really nice lip balm for £4!

dhc sheet mask

DHC Bio Cellulose Sheet Mask

A sheet mask is always a good treat, whilst you can buy them for as little as £1, you can also spend upwards of £20 on these bad boys. For me, DHC’s Bio Cellulose Sheet Mask is a great and affordable skin treat. This one leaves skin super hydrated and super soothed. FYI, if you don’t know DHC Skincare, you NEED to look them up, their Cleansing Oil is the BEST!

So there we have it, ten super fun things for £10 and under!
