Fact: Influencer marketing works. Proof: I am holding this perfume in my hand right now. I straight up saw this fragrance on Instagram and I thought ‘I gotta get me some of that!’. I mean, how could I not want this bow-shaped-caramel-filled beauty?! It’s just beautiful! My friends, it’s time to discuss Viktor & Rolf Bonbon.
Whilst fruity-floral fragrances don’t tend to be my ‘thing’. I do have a sweet spot for a good gourmand, especially one as pretty and easy to wear as this one! Viktor & Rolf Bonbon opens with a burst of citrus; zesty mandarin which mixes with peach and floral orange blossom. Almost instantly you sense the caramel; smooth, rich, delicious, it’s like a fantastical candy shop filled with caramelise sweets, floral-infused macaroons and iced fancies. At the base of the fragrance is a rich mix of warm and sweet sandalwood, cedarwood and amber.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon is so much fun, it’s sweet, zesty and playful. I’m *cough cough* in my 30’s now, so I’m possibly a little too old for this perfume. That being said, I’m wearing it regardless and I will be keeping it in mind next time I’m gift shopping, I know a lot of my friends will love this one, plus the bottle makes it a fabulous looking gift. What can I say, Viktor & Rolf Bonbon is a delicious treat!
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon is available from Feelunique, Escentual and Bloomingdales (if you are an American friend). Also, the necklace is by Anton Heunis @VeryExclusive, Make-up brushes by Spectrum and blushers by Nars @ASOS_beauty.
