The Mid-Month Treats

The Mid-Month Treats

There’s always a part of the year which feels a little like we are in Narnia. It’s cold, dreary and Christmas feels like it was forever ago. The cold weather no longer feels cosy, but it feels draining and I wonder if summer will ever come. I know I sound like doom and gloom right now but quite frankly, I need a little treat and I’m guessing you do too, which is why I’m giving you all a little inspo to buy yourself a little mid-month treat. Just a little joyful pick-me-up treat!

Foreo-Luna

Foreo Luna

OK! Let’s kick things off shall we! One of my favourite bathroom gadgets has to be the Foreo Luna. It’s a cleansing brush with a difference, it’s much less abrasive than all the other brushes as the silicone bristles do the trick without causing damage to your skin. It leaves your skin feeling super soft, radiant and exfoliated and the pulsing gives long term anti-aging benefits. Such a good gadget and one which you won’t use once and never again, this has been a bathroom staple for me over the past year or so!

 Benefit-Sugarlicious

Benefit Sugarlicious

There are a lot of great Benefit gift sets and kits, but Sugarlicious is one of my all time favourites! I love the wonderfully shimmery blusher, the super cute lip gloss and the mini bottles of High Beam and Benetint. High Beam and Benetint are two of my favourite ever products and whilst I have the regular sized versions of these already, I love the minis for when I’m travelling. For £26.50, it’s a sweet treat and a real bargain!

Ren-Seriously-Good-Kit-skin-care

Ren Seriously Good Kit

If you are thinking about shaking up your skincare but don’t want to commit to full sized products, then why not treat yourself to some mini’s by Ren, they will allow you to dip your toe in the water and see what you think.  This Ren Seriously Good Kit contains four of their hero products; Evercalm Moisturiser, Keep Young & Beautiful Treatment, Radiance Mask and Flash Treatment. They also come in super handy if you are travelling and you want some mini’s to save suitcase space!

 nyx-highlighter-palette-contour-set

NYX Strobe Genius

Anyone who follows my Instagram will know I love NYX cosmetics. They have some seriously fun palettes filled with amazing colours and tones. One of my favourite palettes is the NYX Strobe Genius, I have about three of these, all in different handbags and make up bags. Utterly addicted and such a good mid-month treat! It’s particularly good for pale skinned girls like me.

brows benefit set

Benefit Brows

Benefit know how to create brows that wow! I have tried lots brands brow products and quite frankly, nothing really compares, you can try and save a few pennies by buying a budget version, but there’s not really much point, the colours and formulas and never quite the same and there’s always that intangible difference that you get with Benefit brows. Treat yourself to killer brows with this Benefit Defined and Refined Brows Kit, it contains a brow mapping tool, Precisely, My Brow pencilHigh Brow pencil and BROWVO! Conditioning Primer. Great brows make you feel awesome!

the balm palette

TheBalm Romance

If you are into make-up and romance, then I have something super cute for you! TheBalm have some great treats which will indulge both passions. From iconic Rude Nude eyeshadow palette, to this Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow Palette. TheBalm always raise a smile with their cheeky and flirty packaging, but don’t worry, it’s more than just a gimmick, the make-up inside is pretty awesome!

Nip-Fab

Nip + Fab

Nip + Fab is one of my favourite skin care brands, they use the latest technology to create a super effective skincare collection for the hardworking girl on the go. I’m a huge fan of their skin care products which use ingredients like Glycol acid, caffeine, kale, hyaluronic acid and Dragon’s blood (from the Croton Lechleri tree). I’m currently loving their Viper Venom range in particular their Extreme Night Fix, Glycolic Fix Cleanser and Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Shot. If you have never tried it, it’s time to give it a go!

Nude-By-Nature-Contour-Kits

Nude By Nature Contour Kits

Nothing makes me feel better than a good bit of contouring. When I look in the mirror, I want to see high cheekbones, a defined jaw and slim nose, I don’t have these things naturally and if I do, they are hidden under years of donut indulgence, so instead I powder them on. One of my favourite highlighter and contour sets is by  Nude By Nature. I have both the highlighting palette and the contour set, there are three shades in each so you can really blend the shades and create a beautifully defined finish. So much easier than having botox, fillers and cutting out all sugar and carbs.

Nars-Primer.jpg

Nars Primer

Whenever I feel like a little splurge on something special, I head to the Nars section of ASOS Beauty. I adore Nars products, they are beautiful, effective and always feel really special. I have a lot of lovely Nars products, but one of the items I love the most which always makes me feel really special is the Nars Illuminator. I think this is my second tube of this product, I can’t get enough. Another product I love is the Radiance Enhancing Primer, it gives your skin a lift whilst making your make-up last the distance!

 The-Ordinary-skin-care

The Ordinary

The Ordinary is the newest and hottest skincare brand on the scene, they take pride in creating super-hightech products which are science-led, results driven and always free from parabens, sulphates and mineral oils. As for the prices, they are super affordable! Treat yourself to a new skincare regime today and next time your friend raves on about how good it is, you can join in the excitement. A super thrifty treat which you leave you coming back for more!

benefit-cha-cha-tint

Benefit Cha-Cha Tint

Yet another sweet treat from Benefit, this time the classic Cha-Cha Tint. You can use it on your lips and cheeks and it gives a wonderfully peachy-mango tone to it. So pretty and so easily applied. I don’t know what it is about Benefit, but their products always put a big smile on my face!

lottie-highlighter-palette

Lots of Lottie

If you are the kind of girl who loves to buy lots of little things and do a little bit of a mini haul, then why not try buying some Lottie items. I have a fair few pieces which I love, the Shimmer Squad is beautiful and such an amazing price (it’s a great highlighter for super pale girls too as one of the shades has a real silver tone to it). They have some other great items too like the loose powder and eyeshadow palette, it’s a great affordable brand and if you want to overhaul your make up bag rather than invest in just one new item, Lottie is well worth a try, especially the Shimmer Squad! Oh and for all the mermaids out there, they ever have a rainbow highlighter… buy. it. now!

Stila-Sparkles

Stila Sparkles

The latest collection of Stila Cosmetics is absolutely stunning, think high-shine lipgloss, glitter eyes, and luminous highlighter which makes you shine like the moon. Seriously, how good is this eyeshadow palette?! These pieces have been all over the blogosphere and Instagram has been going cray-cray for it all. Nothing makes a girl feel good like a bit of glitter!

So there we have it, a mini ASOS Beauty haul and lots of delightful mid-month treats, now go forth and shop!
