Lust-worthy Valentines Fragrances

When I was single, I hated valentines day. I thought I was just single and bitter but actually, now that I’m engaged to him, I’m still not a big fan of it in the traditional sense.  However, I do relish any excuse to buy a huge box of chocolates, new lipstick and a fancy perfume. With that in mind… here are five valentines fragrance! Single or attached, it’s just a good excuse to go shopping!

Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc

Narciso Rodriguez have created some truly beautiful fragrances; Poudrée and For her L’absolu, to name just a few. This latest fragrance, Fleur Musc is wonderfully spicy and floral, it contains notes of pink peppercorn, rose, amber, woods and patchouli. It’s romantic with a modern and earthy edge. Potentially one of my favourite Narciso Rodriguez fragrances ever. I. Am. Obsessed!

Elie Saab Rose Couture Gift Set

This Elie Saab Rose Couture Gift Set is just lovely! Perfect for yourself, or if you want to gift your BFF (I believe in celebrating best friends on Valentines day, just as much as your boyfriend). It contains the classic Elie Saab Rose Couture perfume as well as a matching body lotion. The perfume smells like orange blossom, peony, jasmine and rose, with a base of vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli. A personal favourite of mine, classic, beautiful and playful!

Cartier Baiser Fou

This is pretty much the best inspiration for a perfume… ever, Cartier Baiser Fou is inspired by the scent of a lipstick. You know that powdery, slightly sweet, soft scent of a lipstick, well that is where this perfume started life. The perfumer, Mathilde Laurent, imagined that scent along with orchid, white chocolate and powdery tones to create this perfume. It’s got a heavy hit of florals (orchid being the dominant note) and it’s sweetness from the white chocolate is noticeable, Cartier Baiser Fou is wonderfully romantic and whimsical!

Jimmy Choo L’Eau

Jimmy Choo L’Eau is the expression of a glowing sensuality. Perfect for the spring, it’s contains notes of bergamot, hibiscus, peony, cedarwood and musk. It’s feminine and fruity-floral, it has a wonderful sweetness to it, as well as a rich lingering dry down. A little youthful for my old bones, but a lovely new Jimmy Choo fragrance, which I am sure will be another huge hit!

Agent Provocateur Pure Aphrodisiaque

I have had this perfume for months and I still giggle like a teenager when I look at the bottle. Actually, that’s not true, as a teenager, I wouldn’t have ‘got’ it. Clearly, this is one of the rudest perfume bottles I have ever seen! Annnnnnyway, this new Agent Provocateur Pure Aphrodlisiaque  perfume is filled with notes of mandarin, pear, rum, orchid, jasmine, amber creme and plenty of musk. A little sweet for my taste, but my friends all adore it!

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss

The latest edition of Estee Lauder’s Modern Muse series is Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss; a wonderfully flirty and sensual fragrance. Filled with notes of Black Cherry, Rose, Pink Pepper, Carrot Seed, Jasmine, Patchouli and Vanilla, it’s a sweet treat! Spicy, floral and fruity! A little more youthful than some of the other Modern Muse fragrances, it’s got a really fun and flirty twist to it!

Michael Kors Sexy Blossom

Fans of Michael Kors perfumes will go nuts for this latest release; Sexy Blossom. It’s perfect for Valentines Day as it literally has ‘sexy’ in the title! It’s filled with notes of Lychee, Rose Petals, Leaves, Pink Peony, Pink Orchid, Muguet Freesia, Ambrox, Musk and Sandalwood. Flirty, feminine and limited edition, so if you want it, make sure you buy it soon, as it will sell out!

Paco Rabanne Olympéa

Lovers of sensual oriental fragrances will adore the latest offering from Paco Rabanne. It contains key notes of orange blossom, white pepper and salty-amber vanilla. Paco Rabanne Olympéa is just the right mix of elegance, warmth, sweetness and rich florals. It has a modern traditional feel and after wearing it for the last few days, I’m starting to fall in love with it!

DKNY Be Tempted Eau de Blush

The latest ‘apple’ to be released by DKNY and it’s perfect for Valentines day!  DKNY Be Tempted Eau de Blush is filled with notes of Grapefruit, Magnolia, Peony, Jasmine, Apricot, Orange, Musk and Woodsy Notes. No apple in this ‘apple’ but just as fruity, zesty and fresh as the other fragrances in the collection, just a little pinker and flirter!

Annick Goutal Tenue de Soirée

If you are looking for a pretty and sexy fragrance with a slightly more mature and elegant twist, then Annick Goutal Tenue de Soirée might be the one for you! It’s filled with notes or sweet, floral iris and earth patchouli. I have no idea what else is in this perfume, but whatever it is, it’s beautiful! Annick Goutal always know how to bring a slice of Parisian elegance to my fragrance wardrobe!

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Hair Mist

Ok, so not technically a perfume, but it is a perfumed hair mist, so you can swish your hair with confidence and know it smells amazing! Narciso Rodriguez For Her Hair Mist smells just like their classic Narciso Rodriguez For Her perfume, filled with pink powdery notes, sweet soft amber and musk. Just lovely!

Star Wars REY

If your boyfriend (or girlfriend) is a bit of a geek, then this Star Wars REY perfume, might really push their buttons. It’s the brand new perfume from the Star Wars franchise and it’s inspired by Rey; strong, sleek, passionate. Imagine how happy Leonard would be if Penny wore this perfume, if you have a Leonard then why not wear this fragrance for Valentines day? Filled with notes of Mandarin, Lemon, Red Berries & Cassis, middle Floral notes of Honeysuckle, Gardenia & Jasmine and base Woody Gourmand notes of Sweet Caramel, Praline, Musk, Amber & Sandalwood. Surprisingly pretty, even if you are not a Star Wars fan!
