Last Winter’s Cape
Last week I made a discovery, I dug deep into the depths of my wardrobe and I found my beloved Boden cape from last year! Call me crazy, but I get so much satisfaction from re-wearing an item 12 months on. It gives me that feeling of ‘I was right to have bought this’ as well as ‘Hello, old friend!’. I tend to spend a little more on clothes and accessories, so the fact I wear them time and time again, year after year, makes me feel like I’m not an extravagant b*tch, but instead… a ‘wise’ shopper.
Last, Last Winter’s Boots
Inspired by my cape discovery, I started to have a poke around to see what else I could find and that’s when I spotted these tweed Chanel boots! Oh la la! These beauties are from two or three years ago, they were part of the Paris-Edinburgh Chanel Collection and when I saw them in store, I knew I had to have them! I love everything about these boots; the tweed, the tassels and the lace-up detailing. I remember at the time they felt like such an extravagant purchase, but 2 years on, I have the boots and no idea where that money would have gone otherwise (Bills?! Rent?! Waitrose?!)
This Winter’s Watch
And now for something new! For the longest time now, I have been eyeing up Olivia Burton Watches, I love their classic style, the feminine details and the vintage touches. It wasn’t easy choosing my favourite as they are all so beautiful, but I decided it was this rose gold number I loved the most. If you have never heard of Olivia Burton watches, now is a great time to head over to their website and have a look, their designs really are to die for! My handbag is also new, it’s by Aspinal Of London and I am smitten with it, they have some amazing handbags, which are all stunning quality and beautiful designs. You can buy them directly from Aspinal of London, or stockists like House of Fraser.
