Does anyone else get insanely jealous of the American beauty bloggers and YouTubers who rave about all the most exciting beauty brands that we just can’t get in the UK?! I don’t know about you, but I just don’t want to spend a fortune shipping items from America and potentially paying double the basket value by the time shipping / taxes / duties are added. Call me selfish, but I’d rather a UK stockist does all the hard work for me!

The latest cult US beauty brand to land in the UK is Jay Manuel Beauty. Remember him from America’s Top Model?! Well, he has a beauty line and since it was released last year, the American bloggers have been going nuts for it. It’s finally available in the UK and QVC are the exclusive stockists of the line.

My Favourites

The Jay Manuel Beauty Collection is very new, but it’s already made a big splash in the beauty world. People rave about the flawless base, high quality ingredients and long-wear formulas which can be used to create classic or avant guard looks. Personally, I’m obsessed with the red lipstick, I love the super rich, creamy texture, the pigment is heavy and intense and it makes my lips look huge! I also adore the Soft Focus Powder Blush, the browner shade in the picture is actually incredible, I love it at a contour powder and it’s filled with radiant glitter which is amazing. It’s a buildable formula and you have the option of a super soft finish or something much heavier and cooler! Finally, the foundation  I love, the palest shade (Light Filter 1) is pale enough for my ghost-like skin and it gives a super comfortable high coverage finish, creamy to apply and lightweight to wear. Perfect!!
