A few years ago, it felt like every time I looked at Twitter, there was a new fashion or beauty collaboration being launched. Each and every one of them was super hot and it was hard to know where to look first. It seems the ‘X’ trend has dried up a little, or perhaps, brands have just started to realise random collabs are not that exciting unless they are super hot. And my friends, this one… is super hot! I’m talking about The Simpsons X Skinnydip Collaboration.

If It’s Nice, Go Twice…

This is not the first time The Simpsons and Skinnydip have joined forces, just last year they created a micro-collection of Krusty The Clown items, this time, they have looked to Patti and Selma, Moe and Mr. Burns. You might think of these characters as slightly shadier, sleazier and a little more fun than Bart & Lisa, but that’s what makes them all the more fun! The Mr Burn ‘Call Me’ Pin Badge is hilarious and taps right into the pin badge trend. The Moe Pillow Make-up Bag is inspired and the Pink Fur Patti & Selma Fur Clutch Bag is genius!!

Hot Cakes

When a collaboration is hot, it sells like, well, hot cakes and already The Simpsons and Skinny-dip has sold out of some items, but don’t worry, there is still plenty of great items in stock and they are taking pre-orders on other pieces which will be hitting the website later this month.
