Lime Crime Make-up Now Available at ASOS Beauty!

You heard it ladies, cult US Beauty Brand Lime Crime has finally launched in the UK at ASOS Beauty! When I first heard the news a few months ago, I was beside myself with excitement, but I didn’t really want to talk about it on my blog until it was officially online and ready to purchase. I have literally been stalking the ASOS Beauty section for months now, checking in to see if it is live and the other day, they popped up! The classic Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipsticks… the holy grail of Matte liquid lipsticks!

Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipstick

The Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipstick have been available for a few years now and they are a cult classic. As far as I’m aware, they were the first brand to major on matte liquid lipsticks and their formula is perfectly pigmented with a velvet finish. Lime Crime is a bit of an alt. beauty brand, with their insta-famous founder Doe Deer being well know for her colourful locks, kawaii style and flawless make-up. These lipsticks can be found in every shade from pretty doll-like pinks, to vintage reds, glamour-puss plums, grunge brown to goth greys and black. Many have wondered if Kylie’s Lip Kits were heavily inspired by the Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipstick… #justsaying.

Personal Favourites

Whilst I love the fact Lime Crime deliver hard-to-find colours, for me, I’m more excited by the colours I can wear every day. If you love a strong red lip, like me, look out for Red Velvet, for a classic red shade with velvet finish. I also love Beet It for a darker, pinkier red which is beautiful for winter. Finally, Riot is beautiful for an every day mid-pink. Other shades to look out for include Teddy Bear (brown), Cement (Grey),  Black Velvet (Black), Fetish (grey based plum) and Cupid (pretty pink).
