A few months ago I got a tiny tester of Byredo Heliotropia and since then I have been obsessed with it. I have a pretty hefty collection of fragrances and I am constantly trying new ones, but rarely do I stumble upon something and exciting and unique as this. Byredo Heliotropia is special. I wish I could come into all of your homes and spritz it for you, because I know I can’t do it the justice it deserves! It’s been one of those scents I have worn and my friends have asked me what I was wearing, in fact, even my neighbour told me I smelt incredible and asked what it was. During the hot summer days, I felt like this fragrance smelt like bright, summer florals blended with exotic markets filled with dark woods, incense and spices. I always thought of it as a Summer fragrance, yet now that it’s cold and dark the florals seem to fade in background and the darker notes feel more prominent and it feels headier, enveloping and mysterious with rich florals which suddenly feel moodier. Byredo Heliotropia is really unusual, it’s unique and exciting and unlike anything else I have ever worn, it’s rich and almost complex, yet it has a purity to it which feels very honest and true. Promise me, next time you go into Liberty (exclusive stockist) you will try this perfume, I’m literally obsessed with it and if you love niche fragrance and you are looking for something utterly unique, you will love this one!
