Too Faced Totally Cute Palette
With this change of season and big festivities coming up, there are some pretty cool new beauty products being realised, I figured it was about time I pulled them all together and shared some of my favourites! Let’s kick things off with this Too Faced Totally Cute palette because it’s proof that Instagram marketing works! I spied it on Instagram and I couldn’t stop thinking about it until it was finally in my hands! This Too Faced Totally Cute Palette is so much fun, it includes two sheets of stickers so you can totally customise it and make it look totally cute! I love Too Faced Eyeshadows at the best of times, but this palette has to be my favourite ever… oh and I really love the fact the three nude shades are double the size of the other colours because Too Faced know we use nudes the most!
M&S Formula Absolute Night Cream
I recently spent an evening with M&S Beauty and the 30Plus Collective learning all about the new M&S Formula Collection, in particular the night cream which is designed to make you look like you have had 8 hours sleep, even when you haven’t. It has been heavily inspired by Korean skincare and it acts as a mask to lock in moisture and slowly release it throughout the night. Packed full of peptides, hyaluronic acid, shea butter, vitamin e and what-nots which will make you look a lot perkier than you feel. Don’t be put off by the idea that this is an ‘own brand collection’, it’s so much better than that!
YSL Vernis à Lèvres Vinyl Cream
Oh Lordy! YSL Beauté have done it again! Their new lipsticks, or lip creams as they are called, are a dream! They have given their classic Vernis à Lèvres lipstick a modern make-over and quite frankly, I’m all over it! These lip creams are like a hybrid of a lip stain, lip stick and lipgloss. They have a heavy pigment, vinyl-like shine finish which lasts for hours. Also, the wand is amazing, it’s got a heart shape point which gives you the perfect cupid’s bow with no effort and it’s curved so it hugs you lips. YSL Vernis à Lèvres Vinyl Cream’s are just perfect!
Malin + Gotez Vetiver Perfume
I have such a beauty crush on Malin + Gotez and their new Vetiver Perfume makes me so happy! I’m a huge fan of dry, grassy vetiver, but it can be quite heavy and intense. Malin + Gotez have managed to retain all the natural beauty of vetiver, added a little fresh citrus and a hint of spice, but they have also given it a slight translucent feel. It’s an EDP, so it have a good strength and it lasts all day, but it has a freshness and a lightness to it as well which makes it a little less intense and a little more modern. Absolutely stunning and I’m so happy Malin + Gotez have expanded their perfumery collection!
Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner
I think we all know I’m a eyeliner addict, however, it’s nice to mix things up with a new colour or a new finish. There are a fair few navy / purple / dark green eyeliners out there to choose from, but Urban Decay have just up’ed the game! Their new Razor Sharp Liquid eyeliners are so exciting as there are so many amazing shades and finishes including a gold glitter, bronze, silver glitter, shimmery aqua and so many more. You can use two shades at a time to layer up the colours add highlights into the corners and edges or even draw dots and hearts just below your eyes for more of a party look. So much fun!
Dermalogica Phyto-Replenish Oil
The change of season is playing havoc with my skin, I feel like some days I’m on the tube and my make up is sliding off my face as my moisturiser is too heavy, other’s I have sore, dry cheeks which feel constantly hot and flushed. Nightmare! Over the last week I had been using Dermalogica Phyto-Replenish Oil and I feel like it’s really helping to reduce the dryness and redness without feeling like I have overloaded my skin. I feel like it’s also helped to iron out my smile lines and lines around my eyes. I can’t say enough good things about this oil and the best part is, you only need to use a few drops so I know it will lsat me all through the winter!
Trussardi Uomo The Red For Him
Whilst this is technically a mens fragrance, Trussardi Uomo The Red For Him is a fragrance I love so much, I could almost be tempted to wear it myself. However, it is technically for men and I think it’s a little too masculine for me. It’s filled with notes of lemon, nutmeg, cognac, with a subtle floral heart and a rich base of leather and patchouli. It’s fresh and aquatic with a heavy hit of woods, leathers and spices. Exciting and uplifting and my boyfriends current favourite cologne.
Margaret Dabbs Bare Feet Collection
I am a huge fan of Margaret Dabbs and her collection of foot (and hand) care products, but I have to admit, it is on the pricey side. Thankfully, she has just launched a diffusion line with M&S Beauty and whilst it’s not as luxe as her classic range, but it is great for the price point. The foot soak is especially lovely with it’s clean citrus scent and uplifting ginger, but I would recommend buying this set so you can try out more of the collection before buying full sized versions of everything.
