London Fashion Week: Ryan Lo Show

Oh how I love Ryan Lo! He gives me all the fashion chills and I literally want to wear everything he makes. For reals, I feel like me and him would have a lot in common if we met. I have a feeling we would have the same taste in 90’s bands and vintage movies. His vision often reminds me of Luella and Meadham Kirchhoff, both brands I loved and I miss dearly. I blogged about his last collection here, I loved it, but this latest collection is even better! It was filled with pretty pastels with clashing reds and orange tones, as well as pirate hats, harlequin prints, ruffles, lurex, puff sleeves, drop waists and kitsch prints.

Hair & Make-up

I could literally wear everything in this collection, well, with the exception of the hats, I’m not that brave. But the make up and apparel is totally up my street! I mean, just look at the models, the make up is amazing! All the girls have amazing popping eyeshadows and their eyebrows are drawn on, high and arched. As well as heavily powdered faces and pouty lips. It’s quite vaudeville and very early Hollywood,  I love it! As for the hair, I’m totally feeling the low ponytails and Alice bands too.

I think Ryan Lo and I should hang out soon and obsess over ‘Whatever Happened To Baby Jane’ together… Don’t you think?! Also a huge thank you to my friends at Sunglass Hut for inviting me to this show!
