The Sportswear Edit
Sportswear is so hot right now. Gone are the days of men and women wearing suits with trainers on their way to work to change into ‘real’ shoes at the office, now the trainers are the footwear of choice with them being styled with smart trousers and some kind of Scandic-Style shirt or sleeveless coat. It’s also not unusual to see girls wearing trainers, joggers and a patched denim jacket around Soho, for a look which says ‘I’m so chilled and relaxed, I’m gonna wear my joggers whilst I run around London meeting up with media agencies and advertising bods’. As long as it’s paired with a Gucci handbag and YSL sunnies, people know it’s a hot look rather than a hobo look!
Big 90’s Logos
A personal favourite sportswear look of mine is the big 90’s logos, I’m loving the Ticks, three-stripes, slutty mudflap girls and Fils logos. As far as I’m concerned, the more nostalgic the better and the bigger the logo, the better the look! Also, the dreamy trainers in the image above are by Nike, I got them for a steal from Brantano recently and I absolutely adore them! They are comfortable, practical and cool. I can wear them everywhere from Morrison’s to meetings and I swear to god, I walk quicker when I wear them. As for the colours, there are so many different options, but for me, the blue and pink felt special yet wearable.
