As we all know, a great pair of sunglasses can take an outfit from being pretty cool to totally amazing! They are the finishing touch to any outfit and even a simple vest top and shorts can be elevated with a good pair of sunnies. Let me remind you of that episode of Sex And The City where Smith was on MTV and Samantha makes him dress his jeans and white vest top up with a pair of designer sunglasses. That could be you, wearing sunglasses in NYC just like Smith!

As much as I love the idea of wearing a pair of aviators, I need to admit, I don’t look cool in them, in fact, I look like a fool! Similarly, a pair of small-sized round frames just emphasises my big ol’ face and chubby cheeks! Instead, I need to go for a larger frame shape, generally a wayfarer or a slight cat eye. Although I have been known to dabble in a oversized round frame too, but generally, I go wayfarer. They flatter my round face and have a bit of a rock ‘n’ roll feel to them, which I’m always into! That’s the aim of this competition, Sunglasses Shop really want to help everyone find their perfect pair of frames because, let’s be honest, sunglasses are important!

To be in with a chance of winning this competition, it’s pretty simple! Just post a selfie of you in Ray-Ban sunglasses. Make sure you use #SGSFaceShape to enter or tag @sunglassesshop (enter as many times as you want, via any social media channel) or e-mail sgsfaceshape@myoptiquegroup.com with your snap!

If you don’t already own a pair of Ray Bans, use a friends, pop into a shop or you can even use the colour-me-in face shape and frame if you don’t currently own a pair (just got to the page, download the guide and print out your perfect shape frame and take a selfie – simple!).
