The Scenic Railway

A few days ago I dragged my butt down to Dreamland with my friend to have a quick ice cream and a wonder around. Next thing I knew, she had whipped her camera and taking snaps of me in front of The Scenic Railway. I wasn’t sure if I should post this outfit, as it’s a really casual and I’m not wearing as much make up as I would have liked and smiling like a loon. Then I decided I would, as I love my new bag and Dreamland looked so fabulous that day with bright blue skies! I don’t want to show off, but Margate really does have the most beautiful skies; clear and blue in the day and orange and pink in the evening. I have often found myself pointing out the window and saying to my boyfriend ‘Look!! It’s almost identical to the sunset in The Little Mermaid’. My boyfriend nods and smiles, but I’m not sure he’s actually ever watched the film and knows the scene I’m referring too. Anyway, apologies for the super casual outfit, I hope you guys don’t mind!

The Bag

I am so smitten with this handbag! Everything about it is perfect… The fringing, the huge tassels and the three colours! It’s a dream to carry around as it makes every simple outfit look so much fancier and it fits all my bits and bobs in! The bag is by Boden and it’s currently on sale and it’s a massive steal. For reals, you get a lot of handbag for your money with this one!

The Watch

I was on the hunt for a new ‘everyday’ watch, as I feel like a lot of my watches are either designer and dressy (I have a couple of really beautiful vintage Gucci watches) or they are super colourful and fun, but don’t necessarily go with everything. This new Rotary Watch is from the Legacy Collection and it’s so simple and timeless, I love it. It’s Swiss made and it has a bit of an old school aviation feel to it, which I love!
