The exciting thing about the beauty industry is that is changes so fast! There is always a new beauty or make-up trend to try, brands to discover, collaborations, limited edition items as well as all the innovation. Here are six new launches I’m currently loving, including the hotly tipped Neal’s Yard Remedies X Deliciously Ella Collaboration…
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Collection: Shade ‘Electric Poppy’
I have already blogged about the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips collection, but I couldn’t resist giving it another mention as I really do adore it, in particular shade ‘Electric Poppy’. I can’t say enough good things about this lipstick, it’s just the perfect shade, the perfect finish and it’s one of those items that I want duplicates of to give to my friends and have a spare tube of, just in case I ever loose it. Also, I know it’s a really weird thing to point out, but I love the smell of this lipstick, it’s got that almost sweet, powdery scent to it.
Barbour For Her Perfume
I love a bit of Barbour, their knitwear is cosy, their scarves are super soft and their jackets are essential. Seriously, if you don’t own one, go buy one! They are so warm, versatile and probably the most weatherproof piece of outerwear you will ever find! I actually have two Barbour jackets, one which is old and scruffy and generally kept in the boot of my boyfriends Discovery, the other is newer and more respectable looking! The Barbour For Her Fragrance has been out for a little while now, but I actually didn’t realise until now (sorry!) but it’s a lovely floral fragrance which is chic, elegant and reminds me of the British countryside. It has notes of jasmine, musk, rose and peony. Just lovely!
This Works In Transit Skin Defence
I am a huge fan of This Works products, I am obsessed with their Sleep Spray, which is pretty much one of the best products in the world. Other notable favourites of mine include the Turbo Balm and the Deep Sleep Bath Oil. Their latest release, In Transit Skin Defence is brilliant as it is face cream which feels light, comfortable, hydrating and fast-absorbing. And that’s not even the best part, it also has an SPF of 30 in it! Let’s be honest, it’s easy to forget to use sunscreen every day and this is a great product which kind of does it all for you!
Neal’s Yard Remedies X Deliciously Ella
This August will see the release of a skincare collaboration between Neal’s Yard Remedies X Deliciously Ella. It’s a match made in heaven when you consider that both Ella and NYR are famed for their natural approach to health and well-being. Ella very careful about what she puts in her body and as a result, she is very careful about her skincare too. Together the two have created a face wash and moisturiser, using many essential oils found in food; lime, blueberry, cucumber, acai fruit, turmeric, as well as rose, a signature essential oil from NYR. At first I was a bit confused by this collaboration, but actually, it makes perfect sense and I am loving the products!
YSL Beauty Sahariennes Bronzing Stones
Be still my beating heart, this YSL Beauty Sahariennes Bronzing Stones is such a stunner! Firstly, the packaging; so slick, so perfect. It screams ‘I’ve made it, now back to my yacht!’. But it doesn’t stop there, this powder is absolutely flawless, I have the palest shade, ‘1 Sunstone’ and it gives the most beautiful, natural glow which feels effortless and weightless. Also, the colour is buildable too, so if you do just want a subtle glow, you can do that, if you want something a little heavier to give a bit of contour, that’s also possible (and you know I’m into that!). This is a handbag essential for me, I have even been carrying it around with me for easy top ups and I have even been known to use it around my eyes for a little contour in the crease. This is such a good summer treat to oneself!
NARS Orgasm Blush – Limited Edition Size
I love this blush, you love this blush, the whole world loves this blush! For real, NARS Orgasm Blusher is one of the most coveted / loved / iconic beauty products out there and fans will be delighted to find out there is a limited edition version of it out right now. What makes it limited edition? The size! Nothing else, (well, the packaging is marginally different) it’s the same, perfect shade and formula, but bigger, about a third bigger to be exact! Brilliant!
