Fragrance: Sweet Summer Scents
What is it about Summer which makes us all want to smell like summer cocktails, fruit salads, tropical florals, ice lollies and coconuts?! I have no idea either! I figured it was about time I pulled together some delicious summer fragrances, perfect for those who love a sweet summer scent!
Juicy Couture I Love Juicy Couture
The sassiest fragrance in town, Juicy Couture I Love Juicy Couture Is filled with notes of apple candies, red currant, mandarin, tiger lily and jasmine. It’s youthful, bold, daring and fun-loving. Plus, the bottle is a teenage dream with it’s leopard print motif and jewelled details!
Bronnley Pink Peony & Rhubarb
Bronnley Pink Peony & Rhubarb is filled with notes of pink peony, sweet apple, tart rhubarb, jasmine and rose. This one is a little more floral than fruity, but it’s a summer-delight at a super-affordable price!
Jimmy choo Illicit
There are a lot of delicious Jimmy Choo fragrances to choose from, but Illicit is my absolute favourite! It’s a little more mature and complex than the rest of the fragrances, it’s sweet and delicious, with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll! Dominant notes include ginger, rose, jasmine, and sandalwood.
Ellie Saab Le Parfum
Ellie Saab Le Parfum is filled with notes of orange flower, jasmine, rose, cedar and sweetened with honey. It’s wonderfully feminine and elegant, but still sweet and delicious! Also, I love the beautiful multi-factited crystal-inspired bottle, it’s a just so pretty!
Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge
Slightly lighter than a regular eau de toilette, but only marginally, this fragrance water still packs a punch which is pretty impressive, especially when you consider the retail price of them. There are three to scents to choose from, but the most delicious has to be Gingembre Rouge. It smells like a delicious sweet fruity-floral with a hint of raspberry, the tropics and spicy ginger! Also, they are sun safe so you can wear them on the beach! Whoop whoop!
Boucheron Quatre
Finally, Boucheron Quatre is a tantalising blend of bitter orange, red currant, jasmine and rose. It reminds me of sweet cocktails and summer days! Fruity-floral and filled with Parisian charm, think crisp summer mornings, afternoon drinks with your girlfriends and a carefree spirit.
These scents all look so stunning, crushing so hard on all of them, especially the Peony & Rhubarb perfume. I agree about us all wanting to smell like so much associated with summer-time; I always like slathering on suntan lotion for the summery scent, there’s definitely something about tropical auras and connotations that we love! Illicit sounds divine too, loving the sound of a hint of rock ‘n’ roll! <3
