Flamingo Candles ‘The Melt Crowd’ Subscription Box

Oh how I love Flamingo Candles! Their candles are a real treat and I just can’t get enough of them! They are hand-poured into the cutest glass jars and they smell sweet and delicious (and never sickly!) Once they have burnt down, the cute jars can be washed out and kept to store sweets, make-up brushes and trinkets. Oh and like all the best luxury candles, flamingo candles are made using soy wax, which is so much better for you than paraffin wax!

The Melt Crowd

A few weeks ago, I was reading through my Twitter feed and half my friends were moaning about the weather / tiredness / work. The other half were super happy because their monthly Flamingo Candles subscription box had arrived. I knew which gang I wanted to be in! I quickly went online and read more about The Melt Crowd on the Flamingo Candles website, followed by a quick google for reviews (I’m looking at you, The Sunday Girl!) and within a few minutes I had signed up!

What’s it all about?

The Melt Crowd is a monthly subscription box, brought to you by Flamingo Candles. Each month you get 8 wax melts in a selection of their classic fragrances as well as limited edition scents which are exclusive to The Melt Crowd. The wax melts are put into a burner slowly fill your room / home with fragrance. The monthly boxes cost £10 (Including p&p) and on your first month, you get a burner for free. All you need is to buy is some tea lights (I got a massive stash of them from Morrisons for £1). Ordinarily, Flamingo Candle wax melts are £2 Each, plus £2.95 for postage. So, when you consider you get 8 melts for £10 with postage included, it’s pretty great (the usual price would be £18.95!)

August Box

This is my first month as a member of The Melt Crowd and true to their word I got a wax burner and 8 melts. I have only used a few of them so far, but I’m absolutely loving them! When you are burning them, you can let the tea light burn out and let the wax solidify for the next time you want to burn it. Alternatively, you could half (or quarter) of the wax melts (I think you could cut them easily with a knife) so you can keep swapping the scents around and keeping things exciting! Favourites so far include Black Tea & Almond and I Carried A Watermelon. Other scents this month include Cactus, White Musk, Lilac, Coastal Path, Tropical Coconut & Honey and Welsh Cakes. All of which, I can’t wait to try and Flamingo Candles guarantee that you for at least the first three months there will be no duplicate melts, after that, there may be one or two repeats, but not many. Flamingo Candles are constantly coming up with new scents and many of them are exclusive to The Melt Crowd.

Sign Up For September

Weirdly, I’m too much of a control-freak for most subscription boxes (my only exception is Glossybox). However, I love The Melt Crowd as you know exactly what you will be getting each month (and you know it’s a great value) but you still get the element of a surprise as you don’t know which scents you will get until you open the package! If you want to become a member, you can sign up to The Melt Crowd here for £10 a month and if you hurry, you will get the September box. And no, I’m not being sponsored, I just really love Flamingo Candles!

Are you signed up to The Melt Crowd or any other subscription boxes? If so, comment below and let me know which ones!
