My Three Favourite Crabtree & Evelyn Fragrances
A few weeks ago, I went to Hampton Court Flower show to see all the beautiful gardens, in particular the Crabtree & Evelyn garden. It was magnificent, it was set out in three levels, each one to represent the base, heart and top notes which they use in some of their most iconic fragrances. From a huge glass case filled with seaweed, to copious amount of mint, lavender and lilies, it was quite a spectacle! In the middle of the garden was a distillery filled with essential oils and their most loved fragrances. It got me thinking about my three favourite Crabtree & Evelyn perfumes. Caribbean Island Wild Flowers Eau de Toilette
I first discovered this Caribbean Island Wild Flowers fragrance when it was launched a year or two ago, I did an instagram takeover in honour of it and I was blown away by the freshness of it, it’s fruity-floral, in a wonderfully summery tropical way. With top notes of bergamot, sea air and mandarin, heart notes of lily, jasmine and passion fruit and base notes of plum, driftwood and balsam, it’s the perfect summer day time fragrance! This fragrance also comes as bath and body products which are every bit as delightful and uplifting as the perfume!
Evelyn Rose Eau de Parfum
I’m such a fan of rose-based fragrances (as you might have all guessed by now!) and I love Evelyn Rose for it’s heavy hit of heady rose blended with leafy greens and fresh citrus and sweet violet. It’s has all the rich, deep, sensual notes I love of rose, but it also has a freshness and a crispness to it, which really lifts the fragrance! It’s stunning, especially for the evening and winter months. If you are a fan of slightly fresher rose-based perfumes, this is one to try, it’s truly lovely!
Hungary Water Eau de Cologne
Finally, the Hungary Water cologne! This is a unisex fragrance which my boyfriend loves, it’s a splash bottle and filled with fresh and spicy notes of pink pepper, spearmint, bergamot at the top, a herby floral heart filled with notes of rosemary, cypress, geranium and a rich, sensual base of amber, musk, sandalwood. Hungary water is uplifting, clean, complex, modern and exciting! A wonderful summer scent for any gentleman and once in a while, I like to wear it as well!
