Whitstable, Kent

Current situation: There is anti-mould bathroom paint in my hair. Not. Even. Kidding.

This weekend, my boyfriend and I have spent the majority of our time painting yet more rooms. Even though our house isn’t that big, it feels endless! We have pretty much finished the two upstairs bathrooms and we are almost done with our bedroom and upstairs hallway… almost! BTW, if you want to see what we have done so far, head over to this post to check out our candy coloured walls.

Stolen Moments

Aside from painting, we did managed to steal a little time to ourselves to eat burgers in Five Guys, have a quick walk on the beach and I also managed to do a Sunday Flatlay (which you can see here). The rest of the time, I was splashing paint on walls. If any of you follow me on Snapchat (search ‘labelsforlunch’ to find me) and wonder why I have not posted much recently, it’s because home renovations are not very entertaining and I’m just not sure anyone needs to see me with a topknot and a paint splattered face.

The Kent Coast

Last weekend was much more exciting though, we drove a short way along the coast to visit Whitstable. I had been told this seaside town was pretty cute, so I had my camera in my bag, just in case I found something cute to capture. It’s clear from this ridiculously photo-heavy post that I found a lot of cuteness. We had a poke around the local shops, walked along the beach and went for lunch.

Of course, my heart belongs to Margate, but if you do visit the coast for a long weekend, Whitstable is well worth a visit!
