Sunday Flatlay
Today’s Sunday Flatlay is themed around things which look and/or smell so good, I just want to eat them! Think candy coated, so-cute-I-don’t-want-to use-them, sweet treats for the eyes and nose!
Flamingo Candles
These Flamingo Candles are what inspired today’s Sunday Flatlay! I have been burning the Mango & Dragonfruit Initial candle all week (not photographed, but check it out here) and my home is smelling like fruity sweets as a result! I love these candles as they smell super fun, they are made of soy wax and the jars are just so darn cute! Speaking of which, please make sure you check out this instagram post by Adorn Girl as she up cycled an old flamingo candle jar into a mini freakshake and it’s making me go all hearts-in-the-eyes emoji. If i copy, don’t judge me!
Bomb Cosmetics
These Bath Blaster by Bomb Cosmetics literally look like cakes, in fact, I once got given one in a goody bag and on the way home I was on the bus and it was dark and I tried to bite into it. Not a good idea! However, if you put them in the bath like you are meant to, you will love them, I promise! My favourite is this one which looks and smells like a Victoria sponge, it’s filled with sugary notes of caramel and strawberry. Instead of regular butter, it contains cocoa butter and leaves my skin oh-so-soft!
Too Faced Blushers
I love Too Faced make-up, they have literally nailed it. The quality of their make-up is flawless, the colours are to die for and the packaging is adorable! I’m such a huge fan of them, I find it hard to walk past Debenhams without popping in to buy myself a treat! These blushers and bronzers are so cute they give me a toothache! Seriously, if you are thinking about treating yourself to some Too Faced, do it, you won’t regret it! There’s substance behind the hype and it’s more than just pretty packaging!
Real Techniques Brushes
I don’t know how I manage it, but I always end up loosing my make-up brushes, I don’t know where they go, but somehow, they just seem to disappear! I have been meaning to pop into Boots for a while now and buy a few new ones and then a delivery of Real Techniques Brushes popped through my letterbox! Yippee! Don’t you just love the pink and orange shades? If you have never tried these brushes before they are really good, some people think they are a little expensive, but to be honest, cheap make-up brushes are a nightmare to use as you just can’t control them, so it’s worth spending a little more.
Lush Bath Bombs
I’m always a fan of Lush Bath Bombs, they smells so sweet and delicious and when they turn my bath crazy colours it makes my heart do a little dance! The Big Bang Bubble Bar is a favourite of mine as it is filled with avocado butter which leaves my skin super soft and hydrated. As for the orange ball, that one is called Lava Lamp and apparently it turns your bathwater orange with purple orbs, Amazing!
Rathbornes Candle
Finally this Rathbornes Dublin Tea Rose, Oud & Patchouli Candle is truely dreamy! Whilst the previous candles smell like fruity sweets and sherbet lollies, this candle smells like rich decadent macaroons! Anyone who has been to Maison Laduree Tea Parlour in Paris for a rose macaroon or rose cake will know what I mean, it smells like tea leaves and rose cakes and old Paris! Between the heavenly scent and the luxe 4-wick candle, it’s so delicious I can’t handle it!
Flamingo candles always have the cutest packaging, keep meaning to buy some! Those the bomb cosmetics bathbombs are so so pretty! I haven’t tried those before but saw their advent calendar at Christmas and wanted it. Too faced do everything right xx
