I’ve Been Shortlisted For A THIRTY PLUS Award

I could not be more excited to announce that I have been shortlisted for a THIRTY PLUS Award! I’m still pinching myself and it literally doesn’t feel real yet, which is probably why it’s taken me a week to post this announcement, as I’m still in disbelief about it!

THIRTY PLUS Collective

In case you don’t know of the THIRTY PLUS collective already, it’s fairly new but it’s already a pretty big deal! It’s a collective of bloggers who have all hit the big 3-0 in age, but blogging isn’t just for the young, after all, we can all bring something to the table, no matter how old we are! If you head to the website, you can read more about it and discover some of the amazing bloggers involved. I thought I knew a lot of amazing bloggers, but I have discovered some incredible men and women through THIRTY PLUS. I’m not normally one to join collectives, but THIRTY PLUS is different; it’s inclusive, informative, inspiration and celebrates community and diversity. The awards are sponsored by The Body Shop who have always championed positivity and diversity.

Shortlisted

Last week I discovered that out of 4,000 nominations, I had been shortlisted for an award:  ‘Photography Star’! I do take a lot of time and care over my blog/social media photography, but I never imagined that it would ever be recognised for it! I’m truly shocked and honoured, especially when I discovered my nominees are all incredible bloggers who’s photos I adore and already follow.
