What’s Inside My BAFTA Goody Bag

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to the BAFTA’s by their primary sponsor, House Of Fraser. It was all a bit of a whirlwind. I mean, what’s a girl to wear to this kind of thing? A gown? I’m not an actress! Converse? I’m not K-Stew! Denim? I’m not Britney or Justin (although Justin was totally there. Yep! Not even kidding!)

Eventually I selected my outfit, headed into London to meet up with the House of Fraser team at the Mondrian hotel. It was all a bit of a whirlwind, it was crazy hot that day and it was super surreal walking a red carpet, but I had an amazing time celeb spotting and hanging out with The London Mum who is hilariously funny! As if that wasn’t all amazing enough, this week a parcel turned up at my house; lo and behold, there were a BAFTA’s goody bag for little ‘ol me! It was wasn’t quite the OSCAR’s goody bag was filled with vouchers for plastic surgery, Rolex watches and car keys for cars which are parked outside waiting for them (surely that’s a myth!). But it was pretty coo! Want to know what’s inside?

Taittinger Champagne

On the night, we walked the red carpet and then enjoyed a glass of fizz over looking the river as the sun set over London. It was such a nice surprise to be sent a bottle of Taittinger Champagne as a souvenir of the evening!

Hotel Chocolat H Box

On the night of the event, there was Hotel Chocolat treats waiting for us on our seats. Each chocolate was shaped to look like the iconic BAFTA logo and I’m not ashamed to tell you they were so delicious I gobbled them up before you could say ‘And the winner is…’! I can’t wait to rip into this H selection box!

Lancôme Make-up

As much as I love chocolate and champagne, the most exciting part of the goody bag has to be the gorgeous selection of Lancôme Make-up! Each piece was selected by the team at Lancôme to suit each persons complexion and make-up tastes. They got my bundle spot on with bright red lipstick, foundation in the palest shade, black mascara and eyeshadow cream stick in a beauty bronze shade. I can’t even imagine how much time and effort Lancôme must have put into this for each and every guest!
