#WeMakeHappy with Kipling London
There’s no greater emotion than happiness and this Summer Kipling London are wanting to bring a smile to
thousands millions of Londoners faces with their #WeMakeHappy project. They are encouraging people to share a message with a friend or loved one, to let them know how much they mean to them. These messages will be combined with colourful balloons and displayed on South Bank, London in June for all to see. The installation is set to be huge, beautiful and joyful. How could I resist sharing this with you all! 🙂
To get involved in this project make your way over to the #WeMakeHappy page to submit your happy message to a friend. Share a memory, compliment or message of joy with them. The instillation will be held at South Bank in London on the 18th June, so you could even ask them to ‘save the date’ and together you could go and see the balloon instillation and then you could take them for coffee and cake afterwards!
My message is to my sibling, Lydia, she is more than just a sister, she’s also my friend. We have so much in common, from our love of art and design, fashion, music, TV, humour… everything! Regular readers of my blog might remember a while ago we did a twinning series together, as have similar taste in clothes and accessories and we often end up looking a little matchy-matchy, even though we have styled everything differently. We have the same pop-culture referencers and we are always swooning after the same handbags and shoes. She’s a super talented artist and she is currently finishing her degree at Goldsmiths, so we haven’t done an outfit post together for a while, but hopefully we will do more this Summer. My sister is so special to me that the spare bedroom in our new house is referred to as ‘Lydia’s Room’ and we are even decorating it to her taste as we have invited her to come and stay with us this Summer! My message to her would be filled with sweet sibling messages and in-jokes, but nothing too cheesy! I have already asked her to put 18th June in her diary, so we can spend the day together looking at the #WeMakeHappy balloon instillation and then I think we might pop into some of our favourite shops together and go to Sketch for Tea and cake! Make sure you get involved and share your happy message with your friend, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
