Kipling #WeMakeHappy Installation
Over the past few weeks I have been working with Kipling to promote their #WeMakeHappy campaign. Together we encouraged Londoners send happy messages to friends and loved ones to let them know how much they mean to them. Each message was suspended off giant rainbow balloons and displayed for all to see along the South Bank of London. Today we all brought our special friends along to show them the message and say a little ‘thank you!’. For anyone who didn’t get the chance to send a message, it was still a spectacular sight in the heart of London. People stopped to take photos, read some messages and enjoy the colours and the atmosphere. Even though the skies were grey, it felt like the sun was shining.
#WeMakeHappy
It feels like it’s been a tough few months, there’s been so much loss in Paris and Orlando, as well as political and financial unrest. It felt really nice to have such a beacon of joy and happiness in London, it felt like a really positive moment for the city. For those who didn’t get to see the Kipling #WeMakeHappy balloon installation, I hope my photos will give a sense of just how spectacular it was and it’s never too late to to someone you love how much they mean to you.
