Firstly, I’m a little late to the party with this one. So I’m super sorry for anyone who already knows about this collaboration, or maybe you have already bought into it. But, I couldn’t let it slip by without talking about it! I’m sure you guys all know by now, I’m obsessed with Jo Malone London and they can’t even release a limited edition box without me featuring it. That’s right! We are talking about packaging here (and a pin badge!) and I’m excited!
Judy Blame
Judy Blame is a stylist, creative director and designer. He was part of the 80’s London club scene and was a regular at Blitz club, which means he’s someone I want to drink coffee with and hear his stories! Anyway, he’s just teamed up with Jo Malone London to give an East London twist to their iconic boxes.
Pearly Kings & Queens
The Pearly Kings and Queens of East London are a royal dynasty, their symbols are a heart for charity, anchor for hope and crown for royalty. You will know them for their black suits embellished with buttons. I lived in East London for years and I was lucky enough to see the Pearly Kings and Queens regularly around town, and I have even met some. FYI, they love to sing, tell jokes and raise money for charity. Their suits are even more incredible up close as they are in photos!
