Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks

I could literally write an essay on how much I love lipstick, it would contain key messages about how it gives me confidence that no other make-up product can. I would rave on and on about how lipstick brightens my face and makes every make-up look complete. I would also mention that if I ever leave the house without lipstick in my bag, I will often end up buying a new lipstick during the day, just to get by. It never feels like a waste, because there is no such thing as too many lipsticks. Too many mascaras, too many black eyeliners, yes. Too many lipsticks? NEVER!

Urban Decay clearly agree there is no such thing as ‘too many lipsticks’, which is why there is 100 shades in their Vice lipstick collection. That’s right, 100 shades! Incredible right? There are six finishes to be found; Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metalized, Sheer and Sheer Shimmer, and so many colours, you will either be ecstatically happy, or a little shell-shocked! Speaking of shells, the lipsticks are beautifully designed to look like bullets. Some of these shades you may have seen before, like my personal favourite, 714 in Mega Matte, which you might remember from the Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Collection. Other’s are brand new and bang on trend like Pandemonium, which is a dark purple with a Mega Matte finish. So hot right now!

My Favourites

Personal favourites of mine would include 714, Big Bang and Pandemonium. As mentioned,  714 was part of the Gwen Stefani X Urban Decay collection earlier this year and I am not exaggerating when I tell you it’s one of my very favourite lipsticks, ever! It’s pretty close to perfect, it lasts for hours and hours, it wears off as well as one could hope for, it feels comfortable and the finish is perfectly matte and flawless. As for the shade; nailed it! A stunning shade of bold, fabulous red. Another favourite of mine has to be Big Bang, it’s not for ever day wear but I just love it regardless! It’s hot pink with a super-metallic finish, it makes me feel like Jem & The Holograms and it’s pretty cool. Another shade I adore, Pandemonium, again, mentioned above, but it’s perfect, it has a Mega Matte finish and it’s a non-messin’ purple. Purple is a huge lipstick trend right now, but this is one of the first times I have seen it well and truly nailed. Everything from the long wear formula to the finish. Perfect!
