Urban Decay X Alice Through The Looking Glass Make-up Collection

Oh la la! Urban Decay have teamed up with the new movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass to create a daring capsule collection of make-up. Want to know more?

Alice Through The Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette

This palette literally makes me say ‘WOW!’ for about 10 reasons. The first of which has to be the insanely beautiful and complex packaging. This palette slides out of a card sleeve, opens up to reveal a mirror and gold writing which folds open like a book to expose a 3D butterfly. As for the eyeshadow palette, that slides out like a draw from a compartment underneath. The packaging is elaborate and amazing, it’s somewhere between a jewellery box, keep-sake book and treasure trove. It’s pretty special! Anyway, onto the make-up, I don’t think I need to tell anyone how good the quality of the eyeshadows are. Urban Decay are world-famous of their incredible eyeshadows and I personally believe they sparked off the recent enthusiasm for eyeshadow palettes. Before Naked came along, no-one got excited about palettes the way we do now, how did it happen? Because their eyeshadows are bloody brilliant! This Urban Decay X Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette is no exception.  It’s filled with fantasy style colours, daring, exciting, cool and actually bang on trend for Summer. Those who love to experiment with bright blues, greens, pinks, bloods and turquoises are going to go nuts for this palette, and for work days, this palette gives you a whole host of everyday shades of browns, taupes and nudes. Personally, I would NEVER have the guts to rock a turquoise eye, nor a pink, green or blue, but actually when I counted up the shades I would be happy to wear, I was shocked to find it was around 14 colours, which is actually a huge amount and well worth buying into, even though at first glance I thought it was a super daring palette. Want it? Then buy it! It’s too good to miss out on!

Alice Through The Looking Glass Lipsticks

OMG! I love Urban Decay with all my heart, these five Urban Decay X Alice Through The Looking Glass Lipsticks are unafraid and bold! The nude (Alice) is almost flesh-toned, it’s really cool if you are doing a heavy eye and you want super nude lips. The pink (Iracebeth) is a good, classic bright pi nk; nice and wearable with a great matte finish. As for the other three shades; Blood (Mirana), Purple (Mad Hatter) and Gunmetal blue (Time), all these shades are bang on trend and if you are brave enough to rock them, they can look innnncredible! I don’t think I need to tell anyone that Urban Decay make a damned good lipstick and these three are amazing shades, if you can make the colours work for your look. This collection is probably going to sell out fast, so if you want something, buy it fast, personally the palette is the item which makes my heart beat fast, but if you are cool enough to wear one of these lipsticks and pull them off, you need to do it. Obsessed, 100%!
