Ladurée, Madison Ave
It’s hard to believe just last week (or was it the week before?!) I was in New York, strolling around town taking photos, wearing clothes, eating lots of delicious food and taking photos of my food… you know how it is! When I discovered that there was a Ladurée just a stones throw away from my hotel, I knew I had to visit. It’s funny how the sight of a little red pin on google maps can give you a craving for a macaroon and a cup of hot chocolate!
Macaroons & Hot Chocolate
We strolled up Madison Avenue to find it, past kate spade new york, past Hermes and Chloe and there it was, a slice of Paris on the Upper West Side of Manhattan! Of course I got a little snap happy, so please excuse how many millions of photos there is in the post, if you get bored half way through, just close the window. I won’t mind! When we got to the tea shop, it was really busy and there were no tables left (nor was there any hot chocolate left for the day!) so instead we got some cakes and macaroons and ate them later that night in our hotel bed whilst watching American TV! If you are in New York and you fancy a little treat from Ladurée, you can find their shop and tearoom at 864 Madison Avenue, 10021 New York. The hot chocolate is crazy good and the I love a mille feuille, and obviously it’s important to get at least 3 macaroons too!
