A few months ago I packed up my tiny little flat in East London and moved to the seaside town of Margate. I have a big beautiful home which is perfect for renovating. The only problem is, renovating it meant keeping everything stored away in boxes and living with just the necessities. For instance, I haven’t watched TV on a TV for 6 months (I know right?!) instead I have watched everything on laptop or iPad with no extra speakers (which is painful as we have an amazing sound bar in storage). I have also been without a stereo, so I have been listening to all my music on my phone, sometimes I put headphones in just to make the sound quality better. That’s when I miss the doorbell. Another nightmare situation.

Ultimate Ears

Enough is enough! I want to listen to music and watch TV with real speakers and awesome sound quality. Thank goodness my friends at Ultimate Ears have been able to help me out with an amazing new Bluetooth Speaker which solves all my #FirstWorldProblems. Say hello to my new UE BOOM 2.

Wireless Speaker

This UE BOOM 2 is an amazing wireless speaker which gives 360 degree sound at an incredible quality. Not only that, these speakers are waterproof so you can take them to the beach or use them in the bathroom and if you suddenly find your Summer BBQ is being ruined by a shower, your speakers will be fine, even if your sausages aren’t! Every so often, UE release a limited edition speaker range and this time round it’s the Fresh Cut UE BOOM 2. It’s all inspired by the fashion trends coming out of the Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week and I must say, it looks pretty amazing!

Ultimate Summer

Whilst I’m excited about using these speakers on Margate beach this summer an at summer barbecues in the park. Right now, I’m just loving listening to my favourite music in my bedroom and it sounding as good as it use to. Also when I’m watching TV and films on my iPad, it makes the whole experience a million times better as I can hear so much more depth in the sound, it’s literally life changing, everything has gone from 2D to 3D and it’s making me very happy. Also singing in the shower is way more fun with this nifty little speaker. If at a later date I want to double up and get another UE Boom 2, I can do, and they will play together for an even fuller sound which is louder, much better for when where is a big group of you. Plus the battery life is 15 hours, so it goes on for ages, so that’s not a worry. In terms of setting it up, you just take it out the cylinder, turn your iPhone Bluetooth on (if it’s not already) download the UE Boom 2 app and press play on your music as you normally would. You can control the sound and tracks from your iPhone and you can even make playlists on the app. Brilliant!!!
