My Thoughts
Oh, Floris and their fine fragrances, I just love them! Their latest addition to their Private Collection is Bergamotto di Positano eau de Parfum. Now that we are coming into Summer, more and more I am thinking about fresh, citrus, aquatic fragrances because most of my heavy amber, ouds and roses just feel too heavy and oppressive in the Summer. Instead, I crave something a little crisper and fresher to cut through the summer heat. Floris Bergamotto di Positano eau de Parfum is exactly that; it’s fresh, clean, citrus and slightly aquatic. However, the heart and base of the fragrance contain a little extra something-something which give it a depth and a sophistication. These notes elevate it and give it a glamour which I crave from a perfume; warm, sweet vanilla, spicy ginger, exotic green tea, deep amber and rich woods. Suitable for both men and women, on my skin this perfume bursts open with crisp citrus notes of bergamot and mandarin, before it settles into something a little warmer, sweeter and and soft citrus feel. On my boyfriends skin, the aquatic notes are more prominent and the spice and woody notes shine through a lot more. On both of us, it smells amazing, Floris Bergamotto di Positano is divine for the Summer, my only criticism is that I have to share it with my man!
