This summer I have teamed up with Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE to help make every day a YAY day. We all have commitments / work / whatever, but if we put a little YAY into every day, we really can have the best summer ever!

Rise and Smile

First things first, wake up and smile! Have a delicious breakfast; my favourite weekend breakfast is pancakes with bacon and maple syrup (so good!) but if time is limited, then why not jazz up a simple piece of toast by making it into a bear. All you need is a piece of toasted bread a little honey or peanut butter, a few slices of banana and dried fruit or blueberries, best served in bed with a chilled Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE.

Wear Your Favourite Clothes

Have you ever bought a pair of sunglasses or a handbag which you love but you have never worn because you want to keep it looking perfect? Or maybe a floral print summer dress which is beautiful but you are saving for ‘best’? Me too and it’s crazy! Great clothes make you feel happy, so add some YAY into your day by wearing your favourite clothes and accessories. The same goes for your favourite perfume and make up, wear it, enjoy it and if it runs out, buy yourself some more!

Have A Little Nostalgic Fun

Is there anything more exciting that racing down a slide at a water park at 50 miles an hour? Or clinging onto the rails at a roller disco with your friends? Not really! Find your local water park, ski centre, fairground, circus or roller disco in the Yellow Pages on google and have a whole afternoon of fun!

Order What You Really Want!

You know that feeling when you order the salad rather than the burger and then you spend the whole time looking at your dates burger longingly. Well, stop that now! It’s time to order what you really want. Order the burger, steak or fish finger sandwich that you really want and when it’s time for desert, skip the sorbet and get a big ol’ scoop of salted caramel ice cream with sticky toffee sauce on top, wash it down with a delicious Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE! YAY indeed!

Treat Yourself

Go to your favourite shop or boutique and have a browse around at all the beautiful things, window shopping is great fun and if there is something you have had your eye on for a while, buy it! One of my favourite shops is Etcetera and I have been eyeing up a Cactus shaped vase for ages now. In the spirit of YAY, I bought it! YAY! If you have been thinking about it for a while and you still really love it and you can afford it, why not treat yourself!
