New Launches I’m Loving

Does anyone else feel the pressure to magically look like a summer-babe because we have had a hint of warm weather?! My legs are not quite hair-free, my make-up will smudge in the heat and my backpack isn’t festival-ready. Thankfully, there are a few new products on the market which can hopefully get us there! Let’s begin!

Clinique 'Take The Day Off' Cleansing

Clinique ‘Take The Day Off’ Cleansing Towelettes

Ok, ok, so we all know face wipes are not ideal for every day, however, it’s always a good idea to have a pack stashed away for late nights and festivals. For such occasions, these Clinique ‘Take The Fay Off’ Cleansing Towelettes are perfect. They are a million times better for your face than supermarket £1 wipes as they are not packed with as many chemicals and alcohol, instead they rely on micellar water. These babies are £17, but let’s be honest, they will last you for a whole summer of festivals and more. Well worth the investment! FYI, the only thing I don’t like about these, is the word ‘Towelettes’, let’s call a spade a spade, it’s a face wipe!

too-faced-better-than-sex-waterproof-mascara-and-remover

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara & Mascara Melt Off Remover

That’s right, Too Faced have released their Iconic Better Than Sex Mascara as a waterproof variety. Perfect for hot days and summer holidays when your make-up magically ends up down your face. This mascara will not budge all day long, which is why they have released a Melt Off Mascara remover to go along side it. The best thing about this mascara remover is that you apply it like a mascara, it has it’s own wand! Apply it and leave it for a few moments to let it work it’s magic and then the mascara will literally wipe away with no traces. I often avoid wearing mascara as I hate removing it so much, so I’m super impressed with how easy it is and how clean it is too. Personally, I apply it, clean my teeth and then remove it, as it needs a minute or two to ‘melt’ the mascara.

Clinique-Extra-Gentle-Cleansing-Foam

Clinique Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam

Also from Clinique, we have a new Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam which is perfect for those with sensitive skin. If your skin is easily irritated, this cleanser will be your new best friend. For those who don’t have sensitive skin, but you like to use a gentle cleanser on no-make-up days, this is for you. Super gentle, it feels really fresh and leaves your face feeling clean without feeling tight. Perfect!

Espa-Naturally-Radiant-Gradual-Tan-Face-Serum

Espa Naturally Radiant Gradual Tan Face Serum

This lightweight and buildable Espa Gradual Tan Face Serum is perfect for those who want a little false tan but fear orange streaks. Just a little serum gives you a lovely glow and if you want more, apply a little more the following day. Also, unlike a lot of gradual tans, which feel horrific on your skin, this one actually feels really light and lovely and it smells like neroli, rose and orange blossom. Perfect for adding a little glow to your face without heavy make-up!

Aromatherapy-Associates-Rich-Repair-Eye-cream

Aromatherapy Associates Rich Repair Eye cream

I try to wear less face make-up in the summer (and even when I wear normal amount I just sweat it off anyway- ew!) so a good eye cream is essential for banishing dark circles. It’s also essential at festivals when sleep may allude you. This Aromatherapy Associates Rich Repair Eye Cream is super hydrating and nourishing, it makes even the tiredest of eyes feel better and it’s packed full of plant extracts and essential oils to bring a new lease of life and hydration to the eye area. I apply it morning, night and sometimes in the middle of the day just for fun!

Eco-tools-Face-Brushes

EcoTools Face Brushes

I love the concept of these EcoTools brushes. They are eco-friendly, cruelty-free and super-soft to use. I personally like my brushes a little on the firmer side, but that’s just my personal taste, however, if you love eco products and animal friendly-ness, these are well worth investigating!

Too-Faced-Royal-Oil-Body-Bronzer

Too Faced Royal Oil Body Bronzer

This Too Faced Royal Oil Body Bronzer is back for a limited period (summer!) and it’s literally a magical body oil. It’s filled with replenishing coconut oil and rich in antioxidants to give you healthy skin a healthy complexion with a wonderful bronze shimmer. If you are thinking it looks dark in the bottle, don’t worry, on your skin it will just look like a sunny gold colour. I love this product so much, I’m tempted to stock up as it won’t be available for long and if the Sweet Peach palette is anything to go by, it might sell out even faster than they were expecting!

Foreo-Luna-Mini-Cleansing-Brush

Foreo Luna Mini Cleansing Brush

I’m a little bit addicted to my Foreo Luna Cleansing Brush, it’s one of those gadgets which you don’t use for a week and then get bored of. Instead it perfectly fits into your bathroom and your life and seamlessly becomes a part of your routine. There are a lot of cleansing brushes on the market and whilst they might be great in the short terms, long term they can be a little too heavy duty on the skin and be a little too abrasive. The Foreo is brilliant as it gives you the short term results you want, super soft skin which looks healthy and revived. This new Foreo Luna Mini Cleansing Brush gives all the same results as the classic Luna but it’s smaller, half the price and the perfect size for travel! If you don’t have a Luna already, make sure you buy one!

Braun-Silk-épil-5.

Braun Silk-épil 5

Finally, the Braun Silk-épil 5. Whilst this isn’t a new product, it is an old favourite of mine which I have had in storage for the longest of time, so it feels like new now I have it back. I’m a low maintenance kind of girl and quite frankly, if I’m going to go to a salon and pay a fortune for a treatment, I want to actually enjoy it. Waxing is never pleasurable. Personally, I prefer to epilate. I can take breaks when I want and it has two settings to I can control how ferociously it pulls out all my hairs. I have used a lot of epilators in my time, but the Braun Silk-épil 5, is deffo my favourite, it works far more efficiently than most and you can use it wet or dry. As for the £60 I will save by not getting waxed in a salon, that will go straight into my Chanel fund!
