Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM

I knew I had to visit Sprinkles Cupcakes and their famous Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM in New York. How could I resist these sweet treats which are not only served in-store, but also through an ATM-style machine in the wall. It’s way more fun than a regular ATM, especially right now, as Barclays have kindly cancelled my card (FYI: It’s not fraud, I just overspent).

Sprinkles Ice Cream

Even though I had visited Sprinkles with the intention of getting a cupcake, it was such a warm day, I really fancied an ice cream. I ordered their current limited edition flavour; Creme Brûlée, which is like a rich creamy vanilla with chunks of crystallised sugar running through it. In terms of toppings, I had went classic, with colourful sprinkles on top. It was served in a waffle cone and tasted heavenly. I think I ate it in about 2 minutes, which is probably a good job as it would have melted in about 4 minutes. Seriously, this is one hell of an ice cream!

Sprinkles Cupcakes

I ate my ice cream on the spot, but I really wanted some cupcakes to enjoy later. So I ordered a Black Velvet cake to eat after dinner. The Black Velvet cake is a bit of a Sprinkles classic. It is a twist on the Red Velvet, the sponge is deep, dark chocolate and it has whipped chocolate ganache on top. I’m not usually a fan of a Red Velvet cake (cream cheese frosting is not my friend!), however, the Black Velvet, is literally amazing! Hardcore chocolate and oh-so-delicious! I’m tempted to go back to Sprinkles and pack my suitcase full of these bad-boys, they are amazing!!!

Sprinkles Cupcakes have a number of locations in the USA; New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Nashville to name a few. If you are ever near a Sprinkles Cupcakes store (or Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM!) make sure you get yourself a sweet treat, it’s pretty much the most fun I have ever had buying a cake and they are just as delicious to eat, as they are exciting to buy!
