The inimitable scent of gold sand and skin warmed by the sun… The fragrance’s intricate harmony opens on captivatingly fresh notes of bergamot, before developing into a heart of tiaré flower and ylang ylang. One of Guerlain’s emblematic ingredients, ylang ylang infuses scents with its warmth. It’s sweet, sensual signature finally reveals a delicious vanilla-tinged dry-down. Leaving now for an exotic paradise… and the promise of voluptuous sensations.

Terracotta: The Bronzer
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Guerlain’s legendary bronzer, Terracotta. It is an iconic beauty product which is known and loved worldwide, one is sold every 25 seconds. The bronzer has a soft scent of summer, tropical islands, warm sands and endless exotic holidays. To celebrate the birthday of this product, in-house perfumer, Thiery Wasser took inspiration from the soft scent of the bronzer and the spirit of the product to create this perfume.
Terracotta: The Perfume
If you were to close your eyes and imagine Summer, Guerlain Terracotta is what is would smell like, only better. It’s like the best summer of your entire life; weeks of endless summer fun, beaches, boats, hot sand, sea breeze, suncream, tropical fruits and florals. It’s a mix of emotions, the bergamot is uplifting, the neroli is relaxing, the musk is sensual and the coconut is playful. It reminds me a little of Estee Lauders Bronze Goddess or Nuxe Prodigieux, but perhaps a little richer. Guerlain Terracotta is like a bottle of sophisticated, whimsical summer joy and I feel really happy when I wear it. It’s one of those perfumes where you keep sniffing your wrists because it’s just so damned nice and when I apply it, I often spritz a little onto my silk scarf or the neck of my jacket, just so I can enjoy it throughout the day. I’m seriously obsessed with Guerlain Terracotta, I urge you to head over to your local Guerlain counter and try it (on your skin, not on a card) because it’s seriously special. Whilst you are there, have a sniff around their collection as they have some incredible perfumes. I’m such a Guerlain fan, I keep recommending their fragrances to my friends as I just love everything they do and Terracotta is my new favourite!
