Crabtree & Evelyn: New Fragrances For Spring
Summer is in the air and I am more excited about switching up my fragrance wardrobe than my actual wardrobe. I’m not the kind of girl who relishes wearing shorts and tee-shirts (not with these chubby knees!) but I do love putting away my heavy, wintery perfumes and mixing them up for lighter, more citrus scents. Along with my fragrance wardrobe, I also love to switch up my bath and body products. Which is why I can’t wait to introduce you to the new Crabtree & Evelyn fragrances for Spring.
Avocado, Olive & Basil
It’s funny, when you think of avocado and olive as a fragrance, it’s hard to imagine how that would smell. Rest assured, it is amazing! Somehow it captures the greenness of the avocado as well as the rich, earthy, lemon notes of the olives. Combined with the herby greenness of the basil, we have a deliciously fresh, green fragrance. Avocado, Olive & Basil sophisticated, clean and unexpected. This bath and body collection is the perfect way to ease yourself into Summer!
Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus & Sage
Where Avocado, Olive & Basil has a subtlety to it, Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus & Sage really packs a fragrance punch! It combines fresh, tangy oranges, with clean, green, herbal notes of Eucalyptus and Sage. The sweet oranges are uplifting and warm, but they have a clean, green earthiness to it, which almost neutralises the sweetness and gives it a maturity. Perfect for the height of summer when you just want something fresh and sharp to revitalised your senses!
Citron, Honey & Coriander
If you like your citrus fruits a little more lemony, then Citron, Honey & Coriander could be the one for you! I’m a real lemon-lover, so this collection is right up my street, especially the shower gel, which is so fresh and zesty, it’s perfect for the morning! The coriander gives it a hit of spice and the honey makes it a little sweeter. Again, perfect for the height of summer when the days are hot and sticky!
Pomegranate, Argan & Grapeseed
Funnily enough, I don’t have much time for eating pomegranates (way too much work, for not enough flavour return), yet I go nuts for the scent pomegranate! It has that dark, juicy fruit feel which is part sweet, part tart, with an air of mystery to it. Pomegranate, Argan & Grapeseed has a slight green and citrus punch and when you layer the products on top of each other. Perfect for late summer and early autumn when you want a fragrance with a little more of a warm, opulent feel.
