Make-up: New NARS Palettes

NARS Cheek Studio Palette make up review

New NARS Palettes

When it comes to make-up, NARS have basically nailed it. Everything, just everything is perfect. The colours, the finish, the formulas. It’s hard to find fault in what they do, and generally the only things I’m not loving, are the colours which don’t suit my complexion. I treat my NARS make up like it’s gold, because damn, that sh*t is special! Don’t believe me? Ask all the other brands out there who try and copy their colours, formulas, concepts, imagery and packaging. No one ever does it quite like NARS, which is why you will never see a ‘hey guys, this is an amazing NARS dupe’ post from me! Anyway, NARS have just launched two great one palettes, one which is exclusive to ASOS Beauty and department stores, and the second is exclusive to Space NK.

L’Amour Toujours L’Amour Palette

This limited edition palette contains 12 great eyeshadow colours which range from every day nudes, taupes, bronze, peacock and dark smoky colours. Some have a matte finish, others contain a shimmer. Personally, I love the every day nudes to wear with liquid liner, I also love the bronze and I blend a little of the darker shades into the socket to give a little contour. One of the nicest things about this palette is the four most wearable, everyday shades are supplied in double the size to the more trend shades. Brilliant! NARS L’Amour Toujours L’Amour Palette is exclusive to ASOS Beauty and department stores.

Cheek Studio Palette

Damn I love a good bit of blush, bronzer and highlighter! This palette is filled with six beautiful shades which are basically all you need to get the glow, blush and definition you want. As always with NARS products, the colours are buildable, last all day and leave you looking truly radiant. I wish I could give favourites, but to be honest, I love every single shade in this palette; the highlight, blush and bronze is perfect, and all the cheek colours are all stunning and super-wearable. NARS Cheek Studio Palette is exclusive to Space NK.

What do you think of these two palettes? Are you a NARSissist?
