Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s day is just around the corner and finding the perfect gift can be super tricky! With that in mind, I picked out some of my favourite things, my mums favourite things and new releases which I think would make damn fine treats this weekend! Ladies, it’s time to shop!

Floris Rose Geranium Bath Essence

This Floris Rose Geranium Bath Essence was a favourite of Marilyn Monroe’s. I took it on holiday to Cornwall this Summer and my mum used it and she liked it so much I’m not sure she ever gave it back to me! If my mum loves it that much, I’m sure your mum will too!

Rosie For Autograph Make-up

This week saw the release of the Rosie For Autograph make-up collection. I love the rose gold packaging, the easy application eye shadows and the beautiful gold and rose tones to it. The lipstick is a little nude for my liking, but there is also some beautiful shades of pink, red and plum.

Astley Clarke Ring

Bec Astley Clarke MBE is a brilliant jewellery designer and businesswoman. Isn’t this Astley Clark ring adorable? I *ahem* tried and tested it and it looks super cute worn alone or stacked up with other jewellery. Isn’t it a beauty?

Timothy Dunn Candle

Fact: Timothy Dunn candles are so good it takes me weeks to burn them for the first time. Instead I like to move it around my house, pick it up a million times and then eventually burn it. This Blue Rose candle is no exception, if I was more generous, I would give it to my mum, but instead I will probably just buy her one instead. Blue Rose smells like Roses, plum and Violets. Believe me, your mum will love this candle!

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer

If your mum loves a healthy glow, then give her the best bronzer in town! I’m currently obsessed with Guerlain make up and this Terracotta Bronzer is just divine. Not only does it give a healthy glow with build-able colour, but it also has an incredible scent to it, I think it is gently perfumed with Shalimar, which is such a beautiful fragrance. Get ready to knock her socks off with this one!

Foreo Eye Massager

This Foreo Iris Eye Massager is one of those gifts which your mum will thank you for when she gets it and then six months later when she’s obsessed with it, then you will really get the *thank you*! My mum is obsessed with her Foreo Luna cleansing brush and she now has her eye on this eye massager. My mum called me up the other day and asked me if I had heard of Charlotte Tilbury and if her make-up is any good. I told her it was amazing and she should try it. Truth be told, everyone should try it because it’s amazing! This new shade, Kiss Chase, is exclusive to Charlotte Tilbury online and the Covent Garden store. It’s the perfect shade of soft berry and I swear, this colour suits everyone!

Crabtree & Evelyn Handcream

My mum is obsessed with Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams, I give it to her for every special occasion as she loves it so much. She still can’t decide which one she loves the most, so I generally switch between Gardeners, Lavender and Avacado and Basil. sometimes I surprise her with a gift box which contains a selection and that makes her *very* happy!

Charles Farris Diffuser

If your mum prefers diffusers to candles, then I would highly recommend Charles Farris Diffusers. Their scents are stunning, personally I love Fig and Garden of Eden. The fig is a fresh woody scent, where as the Garden of Eden is filled with florals of tuberose, jasmine and ylang ylang. It’s amazing how one small bottle with some reeds sticking out can bring so much joy!
