Make-up: Elizabeth Arden ‘Sunset Bronze’

Spring has totally sprung. I know this for three reasons; I no longer reach for my wool scarf when I leave the house, I have been waking up earlier because the sun is steaming through my skylight and my Instagram feed is full of cherry blossom photos. There we have it, proof that Winter is over! It’s time to start thinking about Summer holidays, summer wardrobes and make up which makes us look like we effortlessly glow and shimmer like we have been living in LA for the last 6 months. My friends, it’s time to introduce you to the new Elizabeth Arden Summer collection, Sunset Bronze.

Sunset Bronze Prismatic Bronzing Powder

Damn, this is one fine Bronzing Powder, potentially one of my favourite things in the  collection! The packaging is stunning, I love the case design and the herringbone finish on the powder is beautiful. The brush is perfect for the job and perfect for putting in your handbag for on-the-go top-ups. As for the colour, it’s the perfect shade of bronze, no orange tint and you can easily build up the colour to give the perfect amount of bronze and definition. It’s got a beautiful shimmery gold tone finish to it, which looks stunning when paired with a good highlighter.

Sunset Bronze Prismatic Lip Gloss Collection

This set of three Sunset Bronze Lip Glosses are dazzling with shimmer! They are packed full of lustrous pigments which have an iridescent feel and a hi-shine finish. These are the ultimate Summer-babe lip glosses, a little too pretty for my style (I’m not happy unless I’m wearing a bold matte lipstick) but they are undeniably lovely lip glosses!

Sunset Bronze Prismatic Eye Shadow Palette

As a blonde, I love gold, bronze and rose gold tones around my eyes, so this Eye Shadow Palette is right up my street. I generally keep my eyeshadow simple as I often wear liquid liner and the three lightest shades (the nudes and golds) are perfect for me worn along the lid and then I use the two darker shades in the crease to add a little contour. Whilst this collection does have a very Summer feel to it, these shades are perfect for me all year round and the case is compact and handbag friendly!
