YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipsticks
Whoop Whoop! This Spring sees the launch of 12 new shades of YSL’s iconic Rouge Volupté Shine Lipsticks. These lipsticks were previously available in 18 shades and due to popular demand they have increased this to an incredible 30 shades!
For those who have never tried YSL’s Rouge Volupté Shine Lipsticks, they contain pomegranate seed oil, macadamia butter and hyaluronic acid along with colour pigments to give glide-on lip colour. They leave lips feeling hydrated and nourished, with a great pop of colour! They are easy to apply, super comfortable to wear and the colour lasts for hours, which is pretty impressive considering the super-hydrating formula. Also, I don’t want to be shallow, but I just adore the luxe gold packaging, it’s glamorous and robust. (Please don’t hate me if I fill my Instagram feed with photos of them!)
The new shades range from cool neutrals to pretty pinks, as well as ready-to-party reds and plums. The new shades are perfect for spring / summer and no matter how subtle or strong you like to wear your lipstick, between these shades and the existing colours, there is something for literally everyone!
My Favourites
It’s no secret I love a strong colour lip and my favourites of the new shades have to be No. 50 Fuchsia Stiletto, it might look like a ridiculously bright pink in the photo, but on the lips it’s actually much softer and more wearable, whilst still delivering a real pop of pink, (just not with the same intensity of the tube!). I also love the 46 Orange Perfecto for more of a red tint and I have 4 Rouge in Danger on my wish list, as I think this one will give me the dark, bright red I go nuts for! Ladies, it’s time to treat yourself to a new lipstick!
